Can't comment on this particular model, but our 13yo Bosch washer is still going strong
Got this model, drum bearings failed after 8 months, Bosch wrote it off, and supplied new machine.

It is a bit noisy, and the touch sensitive buttons are a pain and activate if you brush against them

Just had my motor, motor controller and PCB changed @23 months. Fingers crossed you don't get a Friday machine. On the plus side, it takes loads and cleans well.
The Bosch Exxcel WAQ283S0GB is essentially the same exact machine with a slightly changed control panel and doesn't allow for a cold wash, It's only £389 and slso has £50 cashback, why pay more just for a pointless cold wash.

The Siemens WM12Q390GB (IQ300) is also a good buy with its 5 year warranty and £75 trade in (also save normal £9 disposal fee) making it just £383. It's also the exact same machine as the two Bosch variants above (same company). It's had its spin capped at 1200 rpm which is the only negative.

We just bought this one... chose it over the £389 model because the kids' (eczema even with non-bio soap) washing I do with an extra rinse cycle (ie the allergy option on the £429 model). It seems silly that the more I pay, the less control I have over my wash. Had an entry level washer from 2006 (a make now gone bust) which broke only last year where I had full control over temperatures, spin speeds and prewash/ rinse hold etc. My replacement Zanussi was also a cheapy thing with an amazing 1600 spin where fleece comes out practically dry. I'm hoping this new Bosch lives up to its reputation.
wooho got 10 quid back as John-lewis price matched itself
