Close to the cheapest I have seen the kit go.

Description
  • No self-discharge, no memory effect and a higher energy density thanks to Li-Ion battery technology
  • Optimised torque for screw driving and speed for drilling thanks to two speed planetary gearbox
  • Enhanced results with speed pre-selection for applications requiring material-specific speed
  • Use your drill driver more flexibly - drive screws and drill in wood, steel and masonry
  • Keyless chuck opens and closes easily - change drill bits in seconds

Hope it helps someone.

This vs PSB 1800 which gets reduced to £50-60 on Amazon regularly?

No experience of this but the psb 1800 is spot on for around the house. One of the best things I’ve bought.
Thanks for the deal

I’ve got a £10 voucher of £20 spend on amazon so might have to go for this
I got this kit last time around - the batteries are interchangeable with my older 10.8v GSB drill, which fits nicely in the case with this one.

Well worth the money.

This, all day.
a few reviews on amazon saying its "underpowered"

what do you guys think? I know its not an SDS type drill (which I have already) was looking for an extra handy drill
18v torque .. not this one.
Had one of these for couple of years, has been very good, buy the impact driver body as well ( available every where) and you will be ready for most jobs, nice and compact, had no problems, 3 yr guarantee for private use 2 year for trade

Agree with you on buying the impact driver, it's a good piece of kit to buy as well. Can get both for around £100 when your lucky.... I bought the 4ah battery on here when it was on offer early last year to go with it.

I use the impact a lot working on my cars, it obviously won’t undo a wheel but it a great help and saves time and effort
Does this have hammer action?

What are the main differences?

Warranty, build quality, size.

The blue is smaller with a smaller battery so the max drill size is smaller, but the green does struggle at its top end sometimes, so might not bother you too much in comparison.

For a casual DIYer the differences might not be enough to go blue over green though. Personal preference I suppose.

DIY, general use, PSB 1800

professional light duty use= this
These are awesome. Plenty powerful. I have the combo with driver and drill.
Blast. Missed it.

Had the previous 10.8v version but that got knicked (plus another drill and tools) a couple of days ago from my car so need replacements.

This would have been perfect timing as have some DIY to do this weekend.
