Great deal I got one with the two batteries from Wolsey when that was on offer. Mine has however broken only 6months in (fairly heavy use) so has gone back for fixing. Do register for the battery warranty when you get it because you only have a few weeks to sort this from purchase date.
Awesome thanks for the code! Been looking at the DCD796M2-GB for a few weeks and waiting for another code to pop up!

That's interesting wonder if there is a difference between them? I must admit the Makita stuff does seem much better having borrowed one for a bit. Might have to invest in another !
Nice,

I bought this

I also needed a couple of other things so got my basket up to 150 and used the code.

Cheers
I have a Bosch cordless hedge trimmer, the batteries went and have struggled to get a replacement for a fair price. Need a new drill too as Dewalt has seen better days after some heavy use, question is though, will these batteries be universal and work/fit with other Bosch products or do they have different types/fittings for cordless power tools?
This is a good deal but bit of a Milwaukee fan myself. That M18 link with the three 3.0Ah batteries is a great offer, worth the extra I reckon.

Bosch blue tool batteries can only be used with Bosch blue tools they don’t fit other Bosch tools ie green.
Connections are different unfortunately.
Bought two of these from B&Q last year at a bargain price of £65! Came with soft zip shoulder case and a nice handy selection of bits in a case too, been using regularly and no problems. Register for extended bosch warranty online

I think you are right I got the one from Wolsely for 60 quid, gave it a good test run recently on a DIY project with lots of wood work and it does the job and is strong for general task but it certainly felt I had to push or apply more force at certain times.

When I tried it on a concrete fence post I gave up, even tried the diamond bladed tipped drill bits and it didn't seem to have the power for concrete at all and I was drilling into the bit without the metal rebar in it!

Id spend the extra and go for Dewalt or Milwauke too, still a bargain for 60 quid but not at 99 quid

Yeah I was also lucky enough to get for £65 from B&Q.

I am really impressed with it...all the batteries are still good, and it has managed everything I have thrown at it - it is the first cordless drill I have owned which is happy to drill into masonry.

I recently bought an extra (bare) refurb unit from ebay for £40 and can squeeze it into the same case, so I now have 2 drills and 3 batteries. So I can now use one as a drill and one as a screwdriver etc.
Great deal!
If you get this, check your unit for chuck wobble right away - a lot of them are really badly alligned and have a lot of side to side movement, making drilling/screwing really difficult. The way to check is to put a long drill bit in, and look at the end of the bit - if your unit is misaligned, the end of the drill bit will make a noticably bigger circle than the diameter of the bit itself.
Owwwwww. The milwaukee deal is a cracker.

Green Bosch is DIY grade the blue professional range for the trade. I know a few trades that swear by these blue Combi drills, for me I'm invested into Makita lxt rang however this is a good deal especially with three batteries.

I was going to suggest taking apart the broken one but it seems cordless tool battery packs aren't just a bunch of 18650 cells and a charge controller taped together inside a plastic box anymore.

This is no help to you (sorry) but it's quite impressive how the more expensive ones are constructed. They don't look at all repairable either.

Good price on this but the Milwaukee linked above is an even better purchase for a little more money.
Ask yourself why they give you three batteries before buying this..
Thanks for posting @PennyTrader we have added this to the Highlights pages

Because the manufacturers are introducing brushless over brushed, like TVs technology is moving along at quite a rapid rate hence the older tech needs to be sold.

That’s my theory nothing wrong with this drill ( got one myself ) and it’s a cracking Combi drill well worth the money.
Dewalt or milwaukee?

Some chuck wobble is acceptable

Some wobble is unavoidable with a hammer drill, but you might find the amount on this drill hard to live with.

Dewalt or milwaukee?

Both are good... but adding a washer and getting and extra 25 is a deal, I would go for Milwaukee deal above
Like few posters above I got the wolseley one with 2 batteries at £60 also. Touchwood 😏 I've had no problems with it. Used it quite a bit on few jobs since sometimes being a bit rough with it and it's taken it all no problem so far. Got it registered straight away too in case did have problems. I would still agree with them though it is still definitely part of the more entry level Bosch blue range a bit like this deal probably is too. Can go higher up the range in Bosch/Makita/DeWalt for more power etc but these sort of deals on Bosch blue entry level are good alternative for someone with lighter use who might otherwise have gone with green Bosch or similar. Since buying it I've also been keeping an eye on deals on other bare Bosch blue tools that take same battery. Also worth noting homebase got a clearance on lots of Makita lxt kit the now, couple deals on drills with batteries included and few deals on further bare tools, most of the deals easy enough to find have been posted on here already, stock a bit patchy though it seems but can check online some might be lucky to be near something useful.

I have Bosch blue. However I'm seriously thinking of moving to Makita lxt. Reason being is Bosch 18v costs a fortune in comparison.

which one did you get then?
Didn’t get any, I’ve already got plenty Milwaukee gear.
Heat, just brought mine, its a great price, when you consider you Get three batteries. What I also like about the battery charger, you can charge 2 types of bosch batteries and just checked the price out, the charger alone cost £59.99, batteries, about £15-20 each, plus a nice hard case, pretty good deal.

I am not a serious diyer so this is a great drill for the price. This is my 4th drill I own, 2 from the blue professional range and the other 2 works. So now, I have drill for pilot hole, counter sink, drilling and screwing (no more switching out bits). I think, this is it for me, I am done with buying drills (sure hope so)

As a female diyer, my mum thinks I am nuts for buying tools but she sure changed her mine, when I fixed her cabinet doors and dining chairs 😏
