Surprisingly good deal from one of the most overpriced and miserable builders merchants on the planet.

Good drill I have this one
Sorry I clicked cold instead of hot! Nice deal! Already have 1 of these and there great
Cracking, just ordered.. Thanks OP
I know alot of people who swear by Bosch and this is a fantastic deal. I use Makita myself but that's just personal preference. Heat from me!
Yep hot, I have this with 4ah battery, (just one battery) very good for the money
Great deal for a brilliant, all round drill with 2 decent batteries
Ordered, plus 3% quidco cashback for new customers. Thanks OP 🏻

+1. They wanted £30 just for a 4.3ft concrete end post for non-account holders when another local fencing co offer same one for £8.50. Account holders get around 20% off. What a joke.
Anyone know what the difference would be between brands like Bosch, DeWalt and Makita is in terms of performance quality for similar types of drills please?

Unfortunately they all make budget gear as well as premium products, so you pretty much have to go on individual items.
Same as electrical goods, tv's and computers etc, sony make high end and budget, as do samsung, dell, hp etc.. If you are looking at this drill, as a rule bosch blue products are higher quality than their green.

TBH if you are looking for a good all round combi drill for around £100 this is a cracker. I bought the same one with a 4ah battery for around the same price so to get 2 batteries (all be it only 3ah) is a good deal.
Took over an hour and half to return something the other day. That was my first and last time ill probably be buying anything from them
Don't deliver to NI...WTF?

Its not Iceland FFS!

FU TP!
Bosh for such price. Thanks!
hi seems a great deal how did you get for £102 it's coming up at £120 incl vat? that ks

The market in top brand pro tools is so competitive that non of them, can afford to or make bad ones, if you are already invested in a system the choice is easy, otherwise pick a colour and shop on price.
I went to purchase but their site was down for Maintenance. Now it's back up and running and the drill is £120 inc VAT. So it looks like the good times are over.
Ordered mine, missed collection tonight as my local was already shut.
Does anyone know if there is a driver which would be compatible with these batteries. I was really after drill and driver, but this seemed like a good price. Thanks OP
£108 for the drill,£12 for the bits
Aye’ this was £108 ( £90 + vat ) now it looks like Travis Perkins have put the price up to £120....sneaky

Even though the price has increased £120 is still a good deal compared to elsewhere.

Yes check Amazon impact driver £65

It's worth spending the extra £40 on the EC brushless impact driver. Has a socket adapter built in and can loosen car wheel bolts it's that strong!

Sly move by Travis Perkins to increase the price like this, but managed to order one before that. Thanks OP.

Should this thread be updated with the new price or is it now expired?

You say that now, but if you ever get the chance to try one they're awesome! And will remove a stubborn bolt with ease, I assembled a garden chair with mine instead of using a ratchet. Saved me loads of time.

Hi, is this brushless?
I purchased a few days ago a DEWALT DCD777N is this combi drill any better?

Depends really on what you paid and battery power, how many batteries ?

The model you have mentioned is brushless’ that’s an advantage over the Bosch, but is a drill / driver ( no hammer drill function ) so it’s not a combi drill where as the Bosch is.

torques are similar decent from both brands so other then yours not being a combi drill I’d say you’ve bought a decent drill.
