This is only a deal for you if you have 36 volt Bosch Lithium-Ion Battery(ies) and a charger! ie. anyone who buys the Rotak Cordless lawnmower, currently at half price from B&Q.This is because this drill is supplied "naked" with no battery, but the batteries off the Bosch mowers are compatible and interchangeable. Very powerful drill and the best price I could find. Price of £126.45 includes VAT and £7.50 delivery

any cold voters on this are a bunch of "tools" lol

Oh dear if it isn't made by Black and Decker or Challenge then its obviously poor value isn't it

So I would need to have bought the lawn mower to make this a worthwhile deal and you wonder why its getting cold votes?

Maybe if you posted the battery it needs in the same post and what that would cost and if it would still be a saving then maybe it may be more worthwhile......

yes if you buy the Rotak 43Li lawnmower from B&Q at half price plus this drill from Power-tools-Pro it works out cheaper than buying the drill alone with 2 batteries and a charger. simples.

Fair enough - but if you already have a lawnmower.......I think its just one of those thats probably not a bad deal but its an odd way to get it to being a deal if you know what I mean.

lol yes trust me its a bargain if you already have the batteries, the average consumer has come to expect the full package on a cordless drill, however in the same way a deal on a child's car seat is pretty useless if you don't already have a car and equally 10p off the price of tampons is no use to me as I simply don't have the right equipment

10p off tampons - now get that posted and watch the heat!!!

be careful this could start an internet rumour lol

Indeed, people should know there are never deals on here that are that good

Or what you could have done is posted this deal and pointed out that the savings would have enabled you to buy 14 packs of mcvities chocolate digestives or something - or some dvd's at £2.99 each.

Is this a saving of 120% over 3 years??

ROFL

Against the trend I say this is a good deal. Yes, I bought the lawnmower because I needed one and it was half price and gave me two batteries. I also looked around for a 'naked' drill that took the 36v battery and could only find this model at about £70 more on other tool sites. So this is actually a deal whether you have the battery or not! This is a professional bit of kit at a good price.

I run both this 36v and a 24v Bosch for work purposes. They're excellent, the blue professional stuff comes with a 3 year warrant via registration. The batteries don't fail. You pay for what you get. It'll be voted cold as some people are only interested in ultra cheap off-brand cr*p and then wonder why it doesn't last and don't care it ends up in a landfill arer 6 months. These drills can be fully serviced; at £40 per year given the warranty the price is keen.
Thanks for posting.
