The most disappointing piece of kit I have ever owned. Previously mentioned lack of trigger-controlled speed, micro-USB charging port as opposed to USB-C, but most importantly lack of torque control. This thing attempts to twist my wrist every time it comes to a stop. And yes, I know you can buy a very overpriced torque attachment...

I won the arm wrestle with it. Sounds like a bag of nails in a blender now

7th gen isn't much more. But 6th gen has speed control, bit odd.

Still none of them are type C!

Yeah, it's bizarre that even the cheaper, genetic Lidl and Aldi variants have had type C for a while now, but Bosch are still using MICRO-USB :/

Had one for years, great bit of kit, prefer the Lidl parkside one which is a third of the price though. Not knocking it but there are better and more powerful onew for this money or less

Is this the model that has trigger-based variable speed?

What an impressive little cordless screwdriver! Went back to our mobile home after site being locked up for the winter, had to do a few tasks so took out this and it was still charged after months in a cupboard .

This thing was invaluable over the long weekend!

Assembled a bunch of flat pack furniture and this made light work of it. Only realised how useful it was when the battery died in the evening and had to switch to a ratchet manual screwdriver. 5 minutes later, we called it a day and decided to wait for this to recharge before continuing the next morning.

The newer version has variable speed which would have been nice, but not essential in this usecase I dont think. (edited)

I recommend the worx one with the quick swap bits, had for years and its just so useful.

Very pleased with my first generation one and still going strong...looks like times are changing and similar ones available cheaper and probably as good if not better!

I bought one about 4-5 years ago for keeping in the office.

The one I have has a couple of offset attachments and it's been invaluable with a recent kitchen I fitted for the daughter, ideal for basic everyday use, sadly not a variable trigger though.
