Brilliant kit..will be swiped off shelves by employees so not gonna bother even trying to reserve...

Amazon may have this on prime day for less
Great deal, I brought the screwdriver on sale, when it was at £20 from Amazon. Brought the screw set for £6 few days ago at £6 so £26 all together so for £21, that is a bargain considering I paid £26 when it was on sale. Heat.

Someone has reserved them but not collected yet
Do you know if this is powerful enough to put a drill tip and be able to use it that way?

Or is it only for more light jobs?
Worth checking their clearance for other bits you might need. For example noticed this at a decent price but:

homebase.co.uk/bos…807
None, none, none...and none again from yet another homebase super deal, why it is just so super, its super hot none.
Colder than a absolute zero...

what you mean by goose chase ?

He means there might be one hiding somewhere in the UK, could be at least 300 miles away or it could be somewhere in the Orion Nebula,

I'll not be doing that again, there are NO deals near me, there are no special Homebase deals near me, there never where despite 3 million special Homebase deals being posted.

It's only a 3v motor with low gearing, ie it turns slowly with high torque to put for example self assembly furniture together but not quickly enough to drill through much other than say cheese.

I didn't say it was a bad deal, it's a good deal. The product is not worthwhile IMO.

Isn't that an opinion too?
Got one of these on an Amazon deal for £21.50, so might well be that price on Prime day?

Anyway, great little screwdriver. Makes Ikea furniture a doddle and have drilled some holes in the wall to attach the furniture with it.
These are great and worth every penny at £21.
These are for home DIY / general use.
Much easier to use and more practical than a drill screwdriver.

I assembled a large 3 seater ikea sofa with giant screws with it easily.
so don’t listen to usual negative nay sayers, these are very capable for pretty much any home DIY / assembly job.

How do the battery on these hold up if you only get it out every 6 months
wrong Thread...= deleted.

This.... when working with Budget fixtures and fittings, and despite their obvious quality over some other flatpack manufacturerers, Ikea etc furniture are still that the lack of torque is a benefit, I use an old B&D version of this for some small tasks, like Flat pack/ door hinges etcand door fixtures and fittings , where you may be removing and reffitting screws and fixtures that havebeen repeatedly in and out and super easy to over torqe the screws with even a small drill/driver so these definitely have therir place...and i allways wanted the multi head set of this ixo as it just feels great in the hand (as does my older B&D, but there arent extra heads for that and after balking at the offer price once, I've never seen it available of offer locally since , so regretted it ever since... the aldi/Lidl versions when price dropped are probably a better deal. but @£21 its a "deal" for what it is Hawt!!
but as with some of the other posters... nothing anywhere near me or any of my family , so thats 3-4 areas all no go however ive picked up a few bargains from my store too, so the stuff is out there ...its just getting luck of the draw

Back to £30 drat!

It was £21 this morning and last night but wouldn’t let me reserve it. Tons in store in Huntingdon.

I bought the one on Amazon instead.

My mistake it’s £30 for less hits and £21 for more bits!

Huntingdon has 2 more in stock!

Bought one for my Dad and GF.

Speaking as someone who has recently put together a lot (!) of flat pack Ikea furniture and put up quite a few shelves, good luck getting a cheap 10.8V drill into the tight spaces one of these can get into. Also, good luck screwing stuff in that's really close to the wall with a drill - you can't get it level because the chuck gets in the way or, even worse, chews into the wall.

Also, cheap 10.8v drills don't always have the nice high torque / low speed that these offer and I prefer control rather than my screw heads being chewed to bits and screws being over-tightened.

I own one of these as well as a snide one (B&Q / Macallister), personally I prefer the Macallister as it's charge seems to last longer but they are both very handy pieces of kit that have already lasted years and this is a decent price (assuming you can get one).

I'd use a screwdriver for that bit, then use the drill for various other things around the home.

For a load of flat pack furniture? It would slow me down way too much to do it all by hand.

Best to own both (plus a decent hammer drill for masonary).

Most cutlery draws include both spoons and forks, not just sporks .
Handy wee tool
