I'm really hoping the new generation 6 one goes on sale. I'm after the pink one.

This one may not be pink, but it's a pretty decent little thing. I have two of em!
Best wee screwdriver ever ! Had mine about 4 years still going strong .
Really handy, light, and powerful enough for light screwing. Shame they don't do a pack with the 3 attachments.
Brilliant little thing. Not great for heavy duty stuff but ideal for everyday tasks (especially toy battery replacements for the kids!). Good price 🏻
I have 2 of these great little screwdriver gets used for everything.
Is this suitable for IKEA flat pack furniture assembly?

Definitely, the motor has decent torque
It's been available around this price for ages.
I suppose we should be grateful that the price hasn't gone up.
Good gadget though!
honestly these are great - i thought it was pointless at first.. I can turn a screwdriver and I don't run out of batteries.
How wrong I was - really good, powerful, battery lasts well. When you're doing tens or hundreds of screws, this is a life saver. Bargain. hot hot hot
Seems like a decent deal.
Heat added and about to buy one for myself.

Kudos Finwar

Used it for Ikea stuff. It’s fine. Got it on offer last time think it was £21
i own one of these, and used it throughout this year. battery last long, brilliant tool!
I’ve got a similar style one from ikea, would this one be better?
not a deal, standard price

I buy a lot of stuff that i never use. However....this has been a fantastic little item and has had plenty of use building flatpack furniture and little jobs around the house / on the car etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Does this have a hammer function? 😋
Just got this for £19.99 deal of the day non prime 🔥 added
This are not bad but don't have a clutch so it's very easy to damage the screw when tightening. Best to go in 90% of the way and then finish off by hand.

Many years ago I got a Ryobi one with a clutch for about £25, personally I'd keep looking for one like that as the clutch is pretty much essential.

Looks like you can get a torque/clutch attachment for these amazon.co.uk/Bos…0AF
Bought mine in January for the same price. Still in the box unused. Have been using an Argos one i got for £7 in January sales which still going strong.
Bought this 26/11/18 for £19.99 (HUKD post), nice piece of kit - wish I'd got it sooner
Good little tool
Does this only go 1 speed, bought a cheap one from B&Q and it just threads all the screws!
My trusty little pound shop one broke at the weekend there so this is well timed!
These are great for rounding off screw heads.
Brilliant little piece of kit - I have this and the Ryobi one - Love them both. Be aware that IF you are buying this as a Xmas present, you might want to go and register it for them to get the extra years warranty (Taking it from 2 to 3), else they will lose it, as it must be done within 28 days of purchase.

Bought one of these a year ago, best thing I ever purchased. I would highly recommend getting the off point attachment with it as it is bulky so can be difficult to reach edges. Other than that highly recommend it.
These are amazing! Bought mine 3 years ago and couldn't do with out it. Hot!
interesting to read all the love for this... I've got one and am not that enthusiastic.

Used for assembling (a lot of) Ikea wardrobes. I found that the bits kept slipping out, a chuck would solve this.

Have to say that mine is an older version.
I keep getting tempted and it's only 20 quid but tend to think "how often am I assembling flat pack furniture" (almost never) and "on those rare occasions would I even remember where I put the thing?"

Yep - turn it around so the pointy end is towards you and the blunt end is towards the object, and hit it.

This one seems decent but I want the new generation 6 one because it has variable speed on it. Plus, the fact that it's pink.

Yeah, just hold the bit end and knock your nails in with the handle

This model only has one speed. There is a new Bosch IXO Generation 6 model that has variable speed and comes in green or pink. It is more expensive though as it has only just been released.

The new one has variable speed which this one sorely misses.
I can confirm these are amazing for when you get back from IKEA

It's not exactly a standard price of its been this price on only 12 brief occasions in the past 5 years.

This is what puts me off using something like this or a drill. With the drill I guess it's more powerful, but if the same happens with this, then it's no good.
