This isn't a very good screwdriver you can't screw it in the wall I have returned mine say it's not strong enough

Good price for a good screwdriver

Pretty good screwdriver surprised how long it holds charge. Screws fine into walls with rawlplugs

I've had one of these for a few years and it's a good little tool. Drives screws in well and it's really light weight making it extremely handy!

hot deal, definetly one of the best low voltage screwdrivers available

personally would recommend the deals with the attachments included that come out around xmas

thank op

Good price but attachments are essential. Are some sets with bbq blower

Now 19.99 on amazon too

Highly recommended. Had one for a year now, it is the best cordless screwdriver I have owned.
Holds it's charge for a long time and is very powerful for it's size.

I paid nearly £30 for mine, heat added.

Disagree totally, mine is more than torquey enough to screw into masonry/wood/metal and holds its charge very well, last ages.

Had one for ages - think I paid £45 for it (along with a tenner for a drill extension bit from ebay, for non-heavy duty drilling, obviously!).

Absolute bargain!

The Bosch 25pc drill bit set is half price when bought with this item from argos. So £24.99 for both. Bargain. Reserved 1 for pick up. Ideal for assembling kids toys for xmas Thanks OP. Hot!

Cold, been looking into this.

This is the Bosch IXO IV model - not the 4 which is on Amazon which dropped to £19.99 today.

Notice the IV (Three)

According to Amazon, it says the Amazon one has 30% more torque than the IV which is in Argos.

I thought IV was 4?
I have owned these, I'd be lost without them for certain parts of my job.

Oh yeah lol, you are quite right IV is 4.

However, this is what the Amazon write up says:

30 % more torgue and increased rotation speed (+ 15 %) compared to the Bosch IXO IV

So perhaps this is a 5 version or something? If not then maybe the description is incorrect

@realtek

III = 3
IV = 4

ok I think it is the same.

I think that Amazon Description is from before they were Lithium batteries

lol

Cross post.

You should know that everyone is a roman numeral expert on HUKD!

III = 3
IV = 4
V = 5

Amazon have mixed up the review I think

Excellent screwdriver. The only downside is the lack of speed control.

Its a screwdriver not a drill.

Great device!

Got one several years ago as a fathers day present. Genuinely great!

Would highly recommend

It's just that we worry about you realtek, if you don't learn your Roman numerals, then how will you know when certain motion pictures were
copyrighted?*

As pretty much everyone else says cracking little bits of kit. Everyone should own one in all honesty. .

I have one of these and because it only has a single speed it can strip screws like a pro if you aren't careful.

If you're using the right bit, then it shouldnt.

bought mine full price for this price its a bargain... heat from me

These screwdrivers are great. I've had mine for around 3 years and it's still going strong.

The only downside is the clockwise/anti clockwise switch runs horizontally across the handle and it is easy to change direction whilst you are using the thing. A minor annoyance though for a great device.

Excellent bit of kit, had mine for a while now, it is nice and light yet very sturdy with ample torque for most round the house jobs. I paid a bit more than this so I think this is a bargain at £19.99. Great gift for any level of DIYer.

Buy it!!

These are a great size and good for tight spaces but would be loads better with adjustable torque. Wouldn't rate it as one of the best cordless screwdrivers available but is very good at this pricepoint.

Picked mine up earlier with the bosch drill bit set for £25. Bought it mainly to assemble my daughters main xmas present of a kitchen. Not a full one, unfortunately.

Ridere clara voce

Thanks Scottishpunter for posting this.

I picked up mine from Argos this afternoon. I've been thinking about getting a cordless screwdriver for a while this offer encouraged me to go ahead. Have some heat.

Thanks

Thanks OP, been thinking of getting one of these and finally decided today with the other argos thread giving £6 off £15 along with the Bosch 25 Piece Screwdriver Bit Set total come to £18.98 using fastTrack, will find out tomorrow if everything goes smoothly. At some point will get the torque attachment too.
