I think this is a pretty decent deal, especially as it's a Bosch! Free delivery coupled with John Lewis two year warranty, five years is an extra £129 though.

its a washing machine if anyone's wondering we have a Bosch washing machine, we like it plenty

All Bosch washing machines come with a 2 year guarantee irrespective of where you purchase them. Same price at hugheselectrical.co.uk too

They have an excellent Bosch for £299 reduced from £449 in their clearance, a much better machine than this for the extra £49 - 1400 spin, A+++ rated, 8KG

@ Toaster. The Bosch you quoted is an outstanding deal, however that has slightly more depth due to the extra load so it's horses for courses. Regardless Bosch are a premium brand, hence my recommendation.

5.5kg is kinda small, best to go for the £299 one - more energy efficient as well as more capacity. In regards to size, its only 7cm deeper, I think its more or less standard size for a washing machine so it shouldn't be an issue.

Anyway, I see the £299 one was much better value so will vote this cold.

That's an excellent deal. A couple of weeks ago I got the Bosch WAQ283S0GB, which is a similar spec'd but slightly cheaper model, delivered and installed after various stackable voucher codes, Quidco and Bosch redemption cashback for about £286 from Co-op Electrical.

My Bosch cashback on both this and the fridge freezer I bought was approved last night.

I think there is some issue with the sizing of 8KG model on JL website.
In here it says depth is 59: pulsat.fr/bos…tml
Bosh appliances tend to have some 50mm space behind the machine and below the top for pipework/mains so it can go back against the wall... and the dimension on JL site might include door and handle as well.
