I have been without one of these for too long - saw it on amazon and figured it was worth a punt - endless uses to the pro DIY or tradey.

From what I see is the lowest it's been on amazon

Also you can claim £10 cash back using this link bringing it down from £54.14 to the £44.14

Would this be like a digital upgrade to the sliding bevel?

Similar. A company called trig jig sells something similar for £100. This is perfect for skirting, coving and etc

warehouse deal £49.80 . Although says used good . any blemishes will be minor. comes full guarantee and likely to get scratched anyway in tool box

Would this not be just as good? [url=https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00G354E94/ref=cm_sw_r_taa_H0rAybP1XNSE0]

quite possibly, Trend make great router gear - the Bosch has a few more features but if all you need is a digital protractor it will do the job. I have a couple of the Bosch measuring bits and found them to be very accurate and good quality

No. This is really for use as an inclinometer, rather than just generally transferring angles.

I have the trend one. Have had it a few years now. Its a decent tool. Only downside is if it turns on in your toolbox there's no auto off so it drains the battery (watch type) . It's been useful though and I keep a spare battery in my box with it.

they had similar in lidl for a lot less

yes you can get similar tools cheaper, just like you can get a can of lidl beans cheaper than heinz, however this can of beans sells for £85, you can get it now for £44.

In some cases it might be better to spend slightly more to get a more durable tool or one with slightly different features that add value to that person.

Unfortunately.....

Mine arrived today. Looks really good and high quality. Shame if the cashback is no longer valid but still happy.
