Bought previously and imo not great quality. Feels v tinny
Stainless steel = pain in the a*se to keep clean. Black enamelled works best.
Most of these things are made in the same factory in Spain with different brand names slapped on them. Mine says NEFF (it was the cheapest available - honest) but I was looking for a BEKO.
Buy induction. So efficient. So easy to clean

No don't get enamel they can chip and if a light colour can discolour , same with microwaves had a white interior on a Sharp model discolour and rust, never had problems with stainless and look good with a quick wipe, had a black glass hob that was a nightmare to keep clean.

They have come down a lot in price can get them for less than £150 but can't beat gas especially for having a good Woking stir fry.
You gone the whole hob with that deal...
Fully agree, go induction. Safer around kids, super easy to clean, super efficient, fossil fuel free (assuming you use renewable sources of electricity). If you have to have gas for stir fry, how about a domino hob with part induction, part gas (on glass back for easier cleaning). ..

As you've indicated, they're no good for certain types of cooking. Most of them aren't happy if you try to use all rings at once either as it then exceeds the power supply. Great for a 'show' kitchen but a compromise in the real world.

Well I just replaced a black enamel one which was 28 years old and looked like new after a wipe over (sadly one of the valves was jammed with debris and I decided I'd prefer a newer one with flame out safety features). I gues it depends how you treat them.
nice

Not quite true. Using all the rings on max requires a 30amp hardline, same as an electric oven, the plugin ones (13amp) cant get enough power, so doesnt work as well. They exist as most houses dont have two 30amp feeds in their kitchen. Its the reason i dont have one as i wont get the 13amp version for that reason.

Good deal for a branded hob? Heat

Yep, that's what I understand. Just one of the 'issues' with induction.
Nice but the decals rub off over time
Out of stock now.

Well said Sir, well said.
Can connect these yourself? Or is it best to get a gas engineer in? For me it will be a drop in replacement.
