This is very reasonably priced glue gun, 5 minute heat up, very precise delivery of glue, comfortable, steel support is useful, trigger is easy to use and solid so won't snap easily like most budget glue guns.

£9.99 free collection from a store, but the stock is low can be find in Peckham, Wandsworth, Chingford, you have to check your local, otherwise home delivery cost £5.00

45 day return policy if not happy

Serious question, what are the point of these? I use superglue from time to time but a drop from the bottle always does the trick! Is this for times when you need to use tonnes or does the glue hold stronger? Do you need to buy capsules for them or what?

Hot glue can be used to affix parts or wires in electronic devices, yes you will need glue gun sticks but they are not expensive

big glue stick longer than a pencil and a couple of times as thick. stick goes in the back of the gun, gun gets hot, melts the stick, you squirt out, push the bits together, hold for a short while, glue goes cold, things are stuck... simples.

they work well for speed of stick, strength of stick, sticks most things and have good gap filling qualities.
can get wood glue sticks. sticks fairly cheep.

can be a bit of a problem if you want a close fitting fine joint as the glue always keeps the items a fraction seperated, especially if it is a cold surface.

I think they are extremely useful and use often, especially crafting with the kids and diy.

Thanks for the responses guys! I was weighing up if I needed one!

Her mouth will be too hot to glue shut - the glue will melt!

Just been called. We don't have any. Well why show in stock (nit wven low stock) and let me reserve then. Disgruntled woman not to be taken lightly... Part II tomorrow ;-)

I own one but find superglue is stronger.

I own one but find superglue is stronger.

It is useful to point out that superglue is stronger but for a lot of applications you may not necessarily require that type of glue. Eg. wiring looms, printed boards, crafts, the uses are vast. If I want to fix something to a circuit board that I may want to remove at a later date this is how I would do it - superglue would not be a good option!

I am still at lava level over my reservation being swiped from under me. Why I am gutted.com over a glue gun is anyones guess lol.

Great, handy think to have in the shed,,, cheers

Saw these in Aldi/Lidl for £5, of course not Bosch, but usually Aldi/Lidl stuff is good, with good return policy and 3 years warranty.

I don't actually need one of these... but I think I will get one, just in case.
Quite typical of this site

Decent price although out of stock anywhere near me, great for arts and crafts.

What size glue stick does this take?

EDIT: Glue stick diameter 11 x 45-200mm

Update: i went to b&q to query ut and i may have well spoken to a wet lettuce. Suffice to say i will be emailing about customer service.

However, i popped to homebase who price matched the deal without a quibble and even got it from the shelf for me.

Result either way!! Also got my nectar points.
