Another one of the many Homebase deals around at the moment. Top end feature packed laser measuring device (including Bluetooth connectivity it seems) capable of accurately measuring distances up to 50m! Next cheapest Amazon at £91 and most expensive Argos at £134.
Voucher available for home print off valid until the 31st which knocks off 15% on in-store purchases, worked fine on this item.

Looks a good price! I’m not sure I can justify it over my £3 tape measure tho!

I just built a 5.5x4m log cabin. With a tape measure, if I buy this and find out its not level I'm gonna be mad as hell.
Their website seems to only allow you to check stock, not reserve? Seems fairly primitive.....
Love my gadgets and I have one of the basic Bosch laser measures. I know my local Homebase has these in stock, just trying to come up with a good reason in my head to go and upgrade to this but I am struggling, can’t think what I might need to measure up to 150 feet for. Any suggestions gladly accepted
Very handy tool. Aside from being very quick and accurate - Saves last 10 measurements, Measures angles, spirit level, connects to phone and prints measurements on to pictures, only problem you can't only measures in metres.

Thanks, I’m convinced, will pick one up tomorrow (hope they are open Boxing Day!)
I would suggest buying this instead. Over half the price and more functionality, and equally well made. I have both this and the bosch, and must admit the cheaper non branded version is much more versatile. Albeit only 40m, there are several other similar versions on Amazon which go up to 100m which can be found for not much more.

Looks good, Amazon price tracker has had it as low as £15.99 but nevertheless I think I’ll go for it, many thanks

I have the 15m model and picked this up the other day.
- unit is slightly wider making it easier to balance when taking a measurement.
- touch screen to change settings.
- Bluetooth to mobile app. Lets you plot out an area. Auto calcs area, angles can be factored in.
- App allows for volume as well as area.
- does 50m over 15mm.

The biggest difference, it’s a new gadget and I’m a damned sucker for new shiny stuff.
Bought this Bosch this morning but better still used the Homebase 15% off voucher currently available for print off re any in-store purchases up until the 31st. Net amount £42.50.

Only measures up to 16m but the one from Lidl did a whole load of other stuff and it's available for 18 I think. Got one last week, but not used it yet. It's on this site, search for multi purpose detector

Don’t know what the Lidl measure does in the way of extra features but I was fairly impressed with some of the online reviews of the Bosch. This one was quite informative and made my mind up to buy.

Had time to play with this purchase and if you can get one definitely go for it. Absolute steal for the money. I’ve no doubt there are plenty laser measures that will fundamentally do the same job (or more) for less money but with the high’ish resolution colour touch screen coupled with very user friendly functionality its a winner for me. Would I happily pay the usual upwards price of £90? I am honestly tempted to say yes, but for £50 or less (with current Homebase voucher) it’s a no brainer. Seriously

Great find!!! Just picked up this and the Bosch Quigo Plus for £59.50 at Merton. The price of the PLR 50 came up as £124.99 but the lady on the till corrected it manually and honoured the 15% off voucher.

Thanks for posting. Bought it as a gift for my father. I played with it and looks like a really practical little tool. As a bonus it has a spirit level function and degree measurement.
