Ordered. Thanks.

in the other thread for the Bosch PMF 180 E at focus there are lots of mentions of amazon, do we need yet another thread for this?

Same price as Focus, which was posted yesterday.

My nearest Focus is a 40 mile round trip.

Voted HOT.

£5 cheaper than focus if you factor in delivery.

By the way would this be able to cut through a 3cm mdf kitchen worktop... anyone?

Thanks, just ordered

Fantastic thanks!

Yes ... in time. But it may not be the best tool for this.

You won's get a nice straight edge for joining, but will be OK for sink or hob cut outs etc .. but a jigsaw or drill and handsaw would be quicker and easier for cut outs.

For clean cuts use a router

I have one of these - as Waldolf says It would do it but it would take forwever. Its not fast cutting through solid wood as there isn't very much "stroke" or movement of the blade....

It does come in very useful - £40 its worth it......

I saw the Focus ad and started wondering where the nearest Focus is. This is much easier.

Not sure about cashback sites but you can get Nectar points if you go through the referral website:

Thanks for the link very handy indeed

unbelieveable bargain... these are normaly around £60 now, and theyre great...

For anyone still after this, you need to try B&Q. They have a price match policy whereby they will beat a main competitor's store price by 10%. Focus have this in-store at £39.99, so if you go to B&Q you can get it for £35.99....

This is cheaper than Amazon or Focus, and no waiting....

Used one of these this afternoon to cut a hole in the ceiling for a new loft hatch. Brilliant price!

I did. Just take a look around your local B&Q for the BIG price match signs. They're in pretty prominent positions in most B&Q stores and clearly state that they will beat a competitors price by 10%. Since Focus have an in-store price of £39.99, B&Q will sell this to you at 10% less than this - i.e. £35.99, which is what I paid yesterday.

BTW, B&Q actually have this on promotion themselves at the moment - checkout their on-line price, which is also what this costs at the B&Q tills. The Focus price is still a lot cheaper, but B&Q aren't dropping by as much as you think......

btw to do this you have to match against the in-store price at Focus. When I checked yesterday in Focus their half-price promotion on power tools was due to end either today or tomorrow....

its £82 on the shelf in washington B&Q
