Got this, it's a really nice, well-built and compact level. It's got magnets on the bottom which make it really easy to check the level of metallic surfaces. I paid more than this for it and it's well worth the money.

Its a nice little level, but you must have paid retail as I paid less than this ‘deal’ price and I didn’t buy it on offer.

I am not passing judgement on this deal exactly as I bought it 18 months ago, and aluminium prices have jumped, but doesn’t look like a bargain price to me. The 60cm version of this was available for not much more in the sales the last month.

not really a very good time to buy tools though,
there are the black Friday sales and then the January sales, in between are these
standard prices in my experience.

Well if you include the rubber end cap protectors, it comes to 28cm. Just as the 60cm version comes to 63cm, that caught me out when I bought it in a hurry to use between two walls with only a 61cm gap, I was livid when amazon delivered it…. (edited)

Looking at the reviews (check the top german one) doesn't seem worth the price. Fatmax Extreme looks more interesting

Not knocking this deal as they certainly look well engineered, I only stick with Stabila levels these days. Not had one go out of true and backed by a 10 year guarantee.
The equivalent magnetic one can be found for a couple of quid less - amazon.co.uk/Sta…TNW - £15.99
The non magnetic one is only £11.75 and regularly drops under a tenner - amazon.co.uk/Sta…TNM

Agreed. I find the OX and Stanley Fatmax are pretty decent as well but I normally stick to Stabila unless there's a cracking deal on the other two brands I mentioned.
