It is in fact the cheapest it has been on Amazon according to the three camels
It’s well worth it buying this F version as for less than 7 pound more you get the changeable chuck

No idea clearly people don’t know their drills.
I ordered the 2-26 this morning for slightly cheaper but cancelled and ordered the F version with the chuck as it’ll suit me better 🏽
Bosch Professional never use anything else German all the way
Why about the cordless 18v sds still, been watching it for 2 days now, cheapest ever at £100.99

Is this worth the premium over getting a 'similar' 'budget' drill from Lidl?

If you're planning to use it often, then yes.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Brill for a worker but not sure if worth it for casual DIY. Still want it tho!

Yes of course, but I’m planning 2 projects. 1. Install cctv system on my house, which will be hard for me with a corded still drilling high up on a ladder. 2. Installing pvc cladding on my garage exterior wall. I have the other professional drills, just missing this. Would save me a lot ok the long run, I just invest the money I would’ve paid builders on good quality tools. I guess it’s a preference thing tbh. But still heat for the great offer!

Plus battery and charger which is £80

2.6j vs 1.8j for 18v gbh

Cordless equivalent to this one is bosch gbh 36v vli plus but cost at least 4 times more Inc batteries.

Personally, I just don't buy cheap power tools. An 18v Bosch blue Combi plus one of these will see you through any drilling/driving job in the house or garden.

For me, it's an investment worth making if you want to make jobs go much easier. Certainly don't think it's worth scrimping on a drill.

The only cheap tool I own is a Guild Reciprocating saw which is powerful enough for what I needed, the build quality of their tools is excellent considering the prices.

Yeah makes sense. I quite fancy just getting one of these even if I just use it twice in a year just because I know it will be decent when I need it

I bought the 2-26 none-F version earlier in the year, I realise the chuck isn't quick release but could it be changed at all? I miss being able to use standard drill bits.
Thanks.

That is a bare tool. You'll need to add a charger and probably 2 batteries to that.

Cordless is a no brainer then. I'm sure that would do most things you're ever likely to ask of it.

Definitely, I have Bosch professional combi and a impact drill. I need to drill long holes through external wall indoors, quite a few of them. Plus would help when I do the battens for pvc cladding. Don’t need anything more powerful tbh. It would be more powerful than my combi drill though
Ended up buying this too.
Gone up to £133 now.
Still one available for £92 Amazon warehouse used very good
