Product Description
With its easy-fit system, the Bosch GSS 23 AE professional orbital sander is designed so that every type of sanding paper - whether Velcro-backed or on a roll sits perfectly and is held firmly. This system, which provides automatic paper tensioning for an ideal fit, benefits the user by optimising both surface quality and interaction with the micro filter, so great results are achieved while minimising dust. The mains-powered sander also connects easily with a vacuum cleaner to keep the atmosphere healthy and dust-free. Low vibration reduces fatigue and the risk of longer-term health effects. A 190 W motor provides the power for fast material removal, while electronic control not available on any other orbital sander in this price class allows material-specific performance. Sealed ball bearings and a high-quality white sanding plate reflect the sander’s durable design and specification.

Box Contains
1 x mirco filter box
1 x hole punch
2 x sheets of sandpaper

The main bearings made of chocolate, some cheap Chinese effort. I replaced it with a quality one.
Would anyone know or think the makita one at £59 is better or about the same sort of quality?
It’s about £46 on ffx Ebay shop with the voucher pamper14

Good point.

We had two 18v bosch sanders. Both died just after a year of light ocassional use.

Bosch makes great tools... Apart from sanders.

Interesting. Perhaps the older ones are better but I have a green Bosch bought nearly 20 years ago which looks very similar to this and I've given it hell over the years and has never let me down. In fact writing that I've just talked myself out of buying one of these, though no doubt the old faithful will now die next time I pick it up .
190W

The Parkside ones are pretty good. Only £12.99 when on offer and come with changeable pads, also comfy to use, no vibration white finger.

They do if you register (standard 2 years)
Also you need to have warranty cert if claiming after 2 years and invoice (which i lost).

I'm trying to sent one od them back (bosch will give you FedEx prepaid label),but FedEx never picked up the parcel.
