Just ordered one as a last minute Xmas pressie to collect today! Thanks!

Went to B&Q last night,

They had this along with a small cordless screwdriver for £20 and a cordless drill for £40.

Checked with my amazon app and the screwdriver is £25 but the the cordless drill was like £90 and both sold by amazon !

Any idea which drill , thanks

I think this is the same one I got the other week for £30, also on HDUK. Seems decent quality, though I know everyone says Bosch aren't as good as they used to be. You could easily pay £20/25 for an unbranded one so good value at this price.

beware, if you reserve one for collect, the price instore may be different to the reserve price

Definitely a good drill for the price - ideal for DIY,not for every day use.

It is the shelf tags that are wrong - although they are sale tags, I think B&Q have lowered prices further than originally planned. I was in there earlier and they had this drill showing, on a yellow sale tag as £29.99 but big posters showing £24.99. I helped an old couple find this one and can confirm it goes through at the right price.

I bought the cordless drill

Bosch PSB 10.8 li-ion

and it is a great piece of kit for the price. Way better than the own brand drills around this price.

Bought one and on first use it started smoking and quit. This was on putting up Kitchen shelves. Had to send it back to Bosch who were every good, fixed it and returned it within a week. Decent for the money but wish I paid a bit more now for something better.

a cheap pneumatic hammer drill ( sds , e.g. like this ) would get you through the job with an ease, they are just incomparable to the 'standard' hammer drills while working with stone, brick or concrete.I went for this one and I am chuffed .

This drill is fine as long as you don't expect too much, a few holes in thin metal (assuming you will buy decent drill bits), wood or plasterboard is the optimum. Don't overload it, don't overheat it ... or even better - don't use it, just keep it in the box - this is what the green line of Bosch is usually good for. I had it I wouldn't buy it again.

I got one of these off amazon a month back. Happy with my purchase and cost more than this offering....always the way though ain't it.

Heat added.

We've had a Bosch PSB 650 RE (just been down to my shed to check) that's still going strong after 10 years or so, but that earlier model has a chuck key that keeps getting lost and it costs a flipping fortune to keep buying new ones.

Hi all, I just got this and see it doesn't come with any drill bits. Can anyone recommend any? I'm all new to this DIY business!
