OMG!!! I just bought this today too!

Reduced from £78 down to £48 then £40. I had a builder/carpenter friend with me and he said it was a good piece of kit even for a woman!! lol

But the battery just 1.2A.

Good price... paid £60 odd quid from homebase on a 10% off day and thought that was a good deal, regarding the batteries 1.2a is fine for this sort of drill...

loll! yea i've just tried it out now..... very lightwieght and powerfull for a small machine :-D

£38 from Homebase using there pricematch if you have one nearby, 3hr charger BTW

i think its a good deal as it comes with two batteries.ok it might be 3 hr charge time but if you got two batteries its not a problem.had a bocsh drill for over ten years and its still works ok but the power in the battery has depleted over time voted hot oh i bought one yesterday.

Not voted, but underpowered, 1 speed and long charge time.

Not good, even at this price.

Is that counted as 1 speed ??

I think he means gears alot have 2 gears nowadays

A Bosch Green range is very good for DIY. However this particular drill only has a max speed of 700 and no hammer. Pay that bit extra and buy a Ryobi that ticks all the boxes. This drill will be good for drilling into wood and light screwdriving applications.

bought one of these 2months ago £50 have used it every day, nice bit of kit for screwing in screws not much good for drilling,

Not sure homebase will pricematch as they don't sell this exact product.

homebase.co.uk/web…724

If they do pricematch against the version they do sell, note it only has one battery - the extra battery availble with the B&Q deal is surely worth the extra 2 quid.

Bosch donated one of those for the charity auction i held. I put it with a Draper Tool Set & Halfords Travel First Aid Kit and some lucky person had the whole lot for £40. Now thats a bargain!

Yes that's one speed (1 gear), ya need higher rpm for decent drilling.

A makita 12v trade drill with better specs and 3 batt's, for £52.78 delivered.

Hi all,

I was a pile of PSR 18 drills in my local B&Q but the sign says £49.95 and also comes up at the checkout at that price. It looks exactly the same 18v drill with power light, two batteries and a mains charger.

Drill has a drill and torque settings as described.

On the Bosch box it says:

0 603 955 371 (which is the part number) and the barcode says: 3 165140 377324

Can somebody who bought this for £40 please update the thread with their part number and barcode please?

Best regards

Taff

Those are probably the ones, Taff.

This product was one of several that were being offered as part of the B&Q Going, going, gone promotion. (see post#5) It started on Saturday and was only on for 3 days. It looks like the price has now 'gone' back to the previous price of £49.95.

Still a good price for this drill - but obviously not as good as it was.
