Thank you so much, only pricing these up earlier.

An Angle Grinder is a Angle Grinder in my book, its the only power tool id buy any make of, I picked a strange named one up from B&Q today with 3 discs for a tenner.

This id a good deal for a Bosch tho so voted hot

Are two diamond discs really worth £20?

I see your point to an extent but i cant imagine the motors are of as high quality in cheaper grinders.

I have this and a chepo grinder, this is great as its quite small for those hard to reach places!

Do you get any blades with this?

Yes it comes with a basic disc.

I bought this a few weeks ago to clean up some old concrete path i have in my garden and some extra slicing and dicing, but i bought a ]better disc to go with it.

Works a charm. Twenty quid is throwaway if it completes the job its bought for.

it come with case but still not good value.

Having had and used several angle grinders in two sizes, I would suggest that there is little point in buying expensive leading brands unless one is using the tool very often. It is quite easy to abuse even a quality tool of this type (e.g. by stressing the bearings) and the switches are prone to failure. That all said, the Bosch tool is likely to be better than the real cheapos and the price is very reasonable.

No, two diamond discs are not worth an extra £20. The cheapo types (Rolson etc) are often available in budget stores and market stalls for £1 - £3 or so (115mm size) and good enough for most purposes. Lidl and Aldi often sell both ordinary discs and diamond discs in very economically priced packs - worth stocking up.

In my experience, Bosch is not as much of a premium brand as they would like you to believe.
