Bought this a few years ago, would avoid, keeps clogging if the grass is anything but straw dry, if you keep it in a shed which gets hot the clippings bin warps out of shape. Swapped over from a cheap b&m mower but I would say the b&m had better build quality!

Fantastic lawnmower and a great price! If I didn't already have one I'd be all over this!
Is this different to 32R?

Is this different to 32R?

They have it listed as the Rotak 320 (which is the older model) in the spec but the image is definitely the 32R

I've owned one of these for around 5 years now, never missed a beat. Great machine, lives in the shed in all weathers! Bargain at this price!
Assuming it is a 32R....Recently borrowed one of these, to cut about 75sq. m of lawn. Had been waiting for better weather but kept getting worse so just went for it and cut wet grass - first cut of the year so quite long too. Put this on the highest height and managed to cut through the grass like a breeze and looks good. There were enough clippings to fill the bin twice. The bin itself is sturdy, easy to remove, empty and attach. The owners have had this for several years, and keep it in a shed - I couldn’t see any noticeable warping or damage to the clipping bin.

As much as I would prefer a cordless mower, at this price I’ve ordered this one and will give it back if it turns out to be the older model.

Also with bearing in mind, the larger 34” version is currently £85 in Homebase. Ideal if you have a bigger lawn.

The reason for the conflicting reviews on here is the the UK ones are excellent but the Chinese ones are really poor. I've had both. Suspect this is the Chinese one.
Have this too. Great mower. No complaints about it.

Makes sense - is there any way of checking?
Sorry, if it doesn't make a noise and smell, you're doing it wrong. These are just kids toys, the ones that blow bubbles and look like a mobile natioanl lottery machine.

Origin is marked on the box but I think the ones with a black cover over the motor are UK made, green are Chinese - that needs checking though.

The Chinese ones are much cheaper and sold through the sheds, so that raises the probability that this is a Chinese one (Screwfix same company as B&Q).

I had a UK one and it was amazing but showing signs of ageing. Naively went for a 'deal' like this and it was useless: lower power, wouldn't collect the grass properly, shorter lead, even flimsier, etc. Bosch not interested (didn't return calls or emails); I think they just hand responsibility to retailers of these cheaper ones. Fortunately Homebase took it back. I now have a cordless Bosch and it's like the first one but with the enormous convenience of cordless. Unfortunately the batteries cost more than the mower in this 'deal'!

It surprises me that Bosch risk their good name on the poor stuff.

It is cheap though - so it'll get lots of heat on HUKD.

I bought one 3-4 months ago in sale, probably for 45 quid, Chinese made, feels like tat unfortunately... Cuts well enough but not expecting it to last... I'd say try some real ones in a store and put money towards a better build quality ones
I just bought the Bosch 37-14 for 105 quid. Might have to take that one back!
Still voted hot as I paid not much less for a simple Flymo thing in the past and this is better than that for similar price... But I should have paid more for something more sturdy
My previous machine rotak 370 only lasted about two years then kept stopping after a few mins of use.
Brilliant price
I have a 37-14 and it has been faultless for four years. It does struggle with longer and/or damp grass (and will end up dropping it), so if you can't mow regularly and need to often mow long/damp grass then stick with petrol, but in general it's very good.
Great mowers and great price.
Good deal. Even better when used with 15% off first order over £50 code. Thanks
I’ve got this, awesome mower and leaves the nice lines

What is the code? Thanks in advance
Waiting to find out whether this is the chinese or european model...
I have just had to get a replacement for the "chinese" green one didnt have it very long and the grass i was cutting was only short i could smell burning and smoke started coming out of it would not recommend
How does it compare to the Mac Allister one?

diy.com/dep…prd
I have this and like others have said, this clogs really easily and even when it doesn't I have to empty the box about 4 times on a small patch of grass. The Flymo I had previously was far better.
I have the Rotak 34 for about 5 years, it had “made in UK” label and still works. Only downside was the grass collector gets filled quickly, we had a small garden.
Waiting on a deal for a cordless one.

Thanks. Based on yours and other similar comments I’m guessing it won’t be made in UK. Was in Homebase earlier and they had this model marked as Made in Hungary, and the 34 version as made in China.

I bought this one for delivery tomorrow, based on my experience with the UK version. I think we’ll end up keeping it regardless as this is our first year with a lawn so want to make sure we actually use it. If we keep on top of things then we can justify spending more on a cordless for next year.
Ordered thanks
used to have one of these worked well for a few years and not bad for the price, now I use a manual one and treat the job as exercise...so far i've never packed up
Its not first bosch product trying this trick on amazon there is 12v drill with old model but picture and description gives new model specification.
Voted hot for the op just bare in mind its not new model..
This Rotak 32R is a nice and simple lawnmower. Bought it same price in 2017 on Amazon, however it broke after 364 days of abuse. Bought ROTAK 34R as a replacement, which is much better in terms of features and build quality.
Item delivered is Rotak 320 ER, made in China
Absolute rubbish. Blades snapped and stop spinning on high grass. Sent back and got proper petrol instead. Cold from me.

Mine received today same made in China rotak 320 er. Is there any other better then this one with similar price or should I keep it as it’s a first one ever bought. Bit(confused)
BTW it’s 3 years warranty online registration needed.
37636706-lLQYF.jpg37636706-lngEZ.jpgHot from me. Got my own property this Winter. First time mowing and buying a lawn mower. Took less than 1 hour including assembly. It didn't struggle at all even with my over grown grass. free 24 hour delivery was great too!

I can second this.

I binned it and got a cheap petrol mower and have not regretted it.
My grass was very long. It was dry though (waited) but it did a very good job. I think with a mower like this you have to cut it forward, you can't go backwards otherwise it cloggs. I think it's good value for a small garden
this is not 32R, its older model. i am looking for offer on 32R
