Fair point but surely the trick is to avoid cutting the electric cable and focus on cutting the grass ?!

I've got a similar Bosch mower and yes I actually did cut through the cable, thankfully a replacement was just under a tenner on Amazon ( delivered ) so not exactly half the price of the mower ( mine was over £80 at the time )

Why would anyone be stupid enough to mow over a live cable?...W...T...F!
Have used the bigger version of this from when it first came out and still do,and for an electric mower it`s very capable and proven very hardy.

Or you could just buy a cable flex connector from toolstation for £2.27 and reconnect the 2 parts of the cut wire, not that I have done anything that stupid

RED CABLE ON GREEN GRASS REALLY HARD TO SEE ........................................IF THAS THE CASE GO TO SPECSAVERS....... I HAD THIS NEARLY 2 YEAR GREAT MACHINE

Anyone willing to get amazon to price match?

bought this last week, it's a really good mower. Cuts right up to the left and right edges of the unit so minimises strimming. Will chew through foot long grass and small twigs first time without issue. Wish I'd bought this years ago as it would have saved me a lot of time and effort. Feels well built (apart from the grass box, but it still does the job), hopefully will last a few years

We stopped making these smaller ones the smallest we do now is the 36-37 models well at out stowmarket branch that is maybe Hungary or china still do them but the uk lawn and garden don't anymore

Why do you need to buy a new cable? If you cut thru it just buy a length of cable & fit it or use a 240v cable joiner.

I've never cut the cable, if you walk along holding a loop of cable you keep it well away from the blades, dead easy.
I just upgraded to self propelled petrol mower, health not up to the job of push electric mowers anymore.

Oh don't forget, if you know a pensioner go in on Grey Tuesdays for 10% discount. In Homebase

Great mower. Great price

sad but true

Think I'll pick one of these up tomorrow, my einhell tesco mower died 2 weeks ago RIP you did well for £25 and 2 seasons.

Great price.

Just bought one of these and filled out the questionnaire on an old receipt I digged out so got an extra £5 off.. BARGAIN! Heat added

I've had one of these for a couple of years and not had any problems at all. It doesn't 'compact' the grass in the grass box quite as well as the mower that I had before it, which means that it does need emptying quite often.

Sick of lecky mowers. Any good cheap petrol ones around?

These are underpowered and poor quality. Not recommended.

Picked mine up today after seeing it on HUKD. Our Flymo broke last year and there's now a jungle in my garden so bit the bullet.

Surprised it was in such a tiny box, assembled quickly and got out for the first cut of the year. I'm surprised it handled it so well. The collector filled up quickly but there was ALOT of grass, it was knee height so knew I had some work to do.

If it managed that, it'll deal with a normal cut easy. Did the garden edges nice too... Went much further than the old Flymo.

10+ in stock at my local, reserved and collect price is 57.59.

thanks

I take it this is a slightly lower specced model than the 32R posted recently? 1100w as opposed to 1200w

Spot of solder, gaffer tape, 3 mins, get on with your life already

I got the 34 version from Argos last week for £79.99 and I must say its absolutely brilliant. The cut is immaculate as you watch it behind you and striping is easy and effective. infinitely better than the Flymo I've used over the years.

Ordered, Thanks!

Bought one of these a few years ago and it's been great for a small-medium sized garden. Only problem with it are the clips that tighten to hold the handle in place both snapped. I just tightened the bolt up and now leave the handle in place rather than folded it is storage position. Would still recommend though and thanks for the find OP.
