Well, if it broke down I would prefer to take it into my local B&Q than have to package it in a box and post it back.

These are very good lawn mowers, I have a larger version and it always wins Which? Best Buy.

The 32 / 320 used to different to the larger ones but was regularly on offer around £60. Having the newer version at this price is hot.

The newer version has the grass combs on the side and a roller where as the older one did not.

No idea how much the newer one is but I bought the older one for my father as it was less than 6kg so easy to lift for an OAP.

Same here, it replaced a petrol mower and it's much, much better. Not to mention far quieter and lighter.

Ive got a Rotak....good powerful mower but my only gripe is that is doesnt cut low enough. On its lowest setting the cut makes the grass look neat but after a day or 2 of sun it looks like it needs cutting again.

Used one of these this morning, doing my neighbours lawn, worst mower ever, really flimsy, handle bends and tiny grass box, she is going to get a bigger better one, only any good for a 15' square front lawn.:(

This guy seems to be using it more as a vacuum cleaner:

Good deal I reckon.

thx for above 2 comments regarding the Rotaks, I use a massive flymo and its the one with tires but noticed it never cuts down to that super low level in fact I have to use another flymo hover which hovers but cuts the grass right down to the point its just mud and soil!

Takes the grass much longer to grow back again. Think ill reserve judgement or try a higher rotak model considering the £80-150 flymos are hit and miss lately.

I have the old Rotak 320 model, for from B&Q for £49 a few years ago - cheap and basic, but lightweight and still going strong despite getting soaked when the storms a while back ripped the roof off of my Keter storage unit! Doesn't have the grass combs or roller of this model, but if the rest of this as good as my old one, then very hot (as long as you don't have a large garden). If you need a larger cutting width, then B&Q also have the larger Rotak Ergoflex model on offer.

This is the older model and I had one of these for 10 years and it was fine for my old garden but the garden at my current house was too big for it really. Good mower and very light, which is why I bought my father one.

I've since upgraded to a Rotak 37 / 370 and this copes well - takes half the time on the 320 / 32, due to the extra cutting area but also more power from the motor combined with bigger clippings holder.

These are good mowers but I would only recommend this for a really small garden. I have the 34 and I wish I'd got a bigger model despite only having a medium sized garden

Brilliant price for such a good brand. I have larger (43) version and it almost makes lawn mowing a pleasure (but not quite).

is there a difference between the 320er on b&q and the 32r on amazon?

Yes which is why they have different model numbers. I can't do it now but, when I looked at model numbers you soon find that B & Q seem to have some models unique to them. This seems to be one of them. The most obvious difference is the colour of the grass collection box on the B & Q model is black. There also seems to be a difference in weight between them. Argos used to sell a 320 which had a lower 1000W motor compared to the 32R which now has 1200W. So its quite difficult to compare like for like sometimes.

Suppose you could always remove the wheels!

I have this mower and its very good! And that's an excellent price!

Some strange comments on here. Bought one yesterday and the lawn looks better than ever before. More expensive flymo models do not cut as cleanly. If it was any lower, the grass would be gone

I also have this mower and it's brilliant. On wheels so you don't have to lift it anywhere like the fly mo which is why I got it after reading excellent reviews. Will buy another when this one goes.

Nope.......depends on the quality of ground/grass you have. If you have a good flat surface with quality grass then you can cut that short and it will look pristine. Unfortunately this mower doesnt cut anywhere near low enough. Yes, when its cut it looks ok (it would at ANY length as it would be uniform) but within a day or 2 it looks like it needs cutting again. ...it needs a lower cut.
