Cheers, been looking for a mower. Reserved one for tomrrow!

Paid about £90 for this last year so don't be fooled by the RRP. £80 is definately the best price I've seen so heat added.

Don't forget QuidCo at 1.5% for what it's worth!

Our previous lawnmower caught fire and was pronounced "life extinct" (along with poor Heather) yesterday morning so we are buying a new one today. Just on my way to Homebase to pick one of these up as I reserved one before leaving for work this morning.

Voted hot.

2.52% topcashback. These are the best electric mowers on the market imo. Worth every penny. I've had the older model, used it once a week, borrowed it out, its been over everything (not in my garden) and its still good as new.

I have this mower - it's great but the box is quite small. I change it about every 2 mins. If you have a moderate lawn (I'd say 150sqm +) then get something bigger.

Hot price though, voted accordingly.

ah, i have one of these. lovely machine. paid £40 back when i used to work for bosch with 2 additional blades

good mowers. Mine is going strong as of 2004.

very good mower, in fact the best electric one i have ever used.

Got it on a 15% off day last year for around £67 - great mower.

I have the Rotak rechargeable got it at. A good price from B and Q off a HUKD price and it's fantastic. You are to charge the battery twice per cut but the freedoms and convenience easily makes it worth it. If a better Rotak rechargeable comes up in the future I'll buy one. Only downside is battery prices. Shame cos I would love a spare. Ta!

Maybe OK as far as electric mowers go, but I gave up using electric ones years ago, as they didn't last, and bought a petrol Honda - Brilliant!

If you mow slower it will last longer.

What's the best to get for ~£130? Cheap Petrol or something like this?

Ive got one of these, paid £99 though, best mower so far, great deal

thanks bought one for my mother as well!

Got quite a large garden now, worth getting this or go petrol?

With the price of petrol I'd stick to electric.

electric mowers are ok if you live on a new estate near tinytown with a postage stamp garden, but petrol is far quicker for a decent size garden. The cost difference is mainly the initial outlay - petrol mowers are much more expensive, but will last much longer if you buy something decent, like a honda or hayter.

my honda mower is 9 years old and still works like new.

Thanks for both views.

As for SOTV I see you've used a photo which is the typical appearance of a Nose. Just needs the Burberry cap and Silver Balls dog chain and you'd have it spot on

If your garden's big get the 37 or 40 even. If you can afford it look at the the Rotak LI (battery powered) which is excellent and no wires. I've had one for 2 years (there was a a half price B&Q deal on here then) and it's superb.

Was £149.99....lmfao.

I got the 43 Ergoflex Rotak for that price a year ago.

some credit should be gone to the original poster probably

What are these like for cutting up to the edge of lawns?
I have railway sleepers around the edges, above the height of the lawn and have to use a strimmer, was hoping this might save me using the strimmer

This is cold, went in to see and it is 149 with 20% off so 120 not 80 :-(

Borrow = To obtain or receive (something) on loan with the promise or understanding of returning it or its equivalent

Lent =Past tense and past participle of lend. i.e what you do when you lend somebody something of yours!

So is this available in store or not at £79.99? See above post stating it's not..

This thread has potential to spiral into a

thread.

Its a pretty sad way to advertise how well you think youre doing for yourself!

Part of my garden has sleepers and this does the job much better than the Flymo I used to have. Still need to trim the edge though if you want it to look perfect.

I also went to see it and it`s marked at £149 but unlike you i got the assistant to price check it. it does indeed scan through the till at £80 as stated. took it home and got the wife to cut the lawns. i don`t think i`ll have to cut the lawns again as it`s so light weight.worth £80 just for that (_;)

I just bought one for £79.99 in Swindon Greenbridge. A real bargain! Thanks for posting.

Went for one, just collected. Where the mowers are it's priced up as £149.99 but then at the end of one of the aisles further down the store there were lots of them marked as £99.99. Extra 20% off so £79.99. Cheers OP

My gardens not that big, I dont think. I'd have to check with one of my gardners though.
