The Bosch Rotak 34 Ergoflex Electric Rotary Mower is currently reduced at Homebase from £149.99 to £99.99. However, during Easter w/end, they are currently offering a further 15% discount, making this excellent mower only £84.99. The 15% discount is valid instore on Fri 6th & Sat 7th April, or online from Fri 6th to Mon 9th April (use code DISCOUNT15).

Amazon have also reduced their price for this earlier this afternoon. They now match the current Homebase price of £84.99, so you can order it online from them if you prefer - although you'll not be able to cut the grass with it this w/end! Link to Amazon and price tracker in the first post.

So, what exactly is this mower then? Well here's some details...

Features: Unique grass combs for cutting right up or over lawn edges.
Type: Electric rotary.
Wattage: 1400W.
Weight: 11kg.
Cutting width: 34cm.
Cutting height range: 10cm.
Collection capacity: 40L.

From what I've seen, it's easy to alter the cutting height, and the roller at the back will give your lawn stripes. Please note this is the relatively new Ergoflex model with versatile handles.

So I guess now all we need now is some decent weather!!

Here is the link to Amazon, where it's been selling around £100 but was reduced this afternoon to £84.99 presumedly to match Homebase.

Link to CamelCamelCamel showing price movement on Amazon. Shows that the current price is the lowest Amazon have sold it.

I have an older model of the Rotak 34 & it is easily the best mower I've used - ideal for smallish gardens IMHO. Voted hot for the make/model.

Totally agree. I have this model and it's very good indeed.

You can't go wrong buying one!

That's a great price for a terrific mower - love mine.

Thanks for your comments guys, this mower does seem to get very good reviews. There are 181 reviews on Amazon, with an average of 4.5 / 5 stars.

It was also a best buy at Which?, who said "this is a great-performing small mower that's also very easy to use"

Got one from deal on here last week for £80 plus £6 delivery from honebase. Just used today first time, very good mower, unbelievably light and quiet compared to my 15 yo flymo electric.

Will vist them tomorrow

Agree with all the above posts.....a mere woman...I find this a great, easy to use mower

Got the rotak 37. Best mower that I have owned. Hot deal!

Still undecided on whether to go for it especially when was a fiver cheaper only the other week.
However, if you spinkle in some 2.50% Cashback via Quidco/TCB and factor in the Nectar points, seems a reasonable deal.

Just do it! You won't be disappointed and this is an excellent price considering the time of year.

Wish I'd thrown out my horrible Flymo years ago.

was looking at the bosch 32 rotary which is £77 on amazon as it is smaller, what is the benefit of this over that!?

Have some heat thanks for sharing

Picked this up from Homebase 2 weeks ago.
Reduced to £99 and at the till it was only £79.
Great mower for that great price.

bought the 36 from b & q for 110 yesterday - anyone know if its worth the extra 25 quid over this deal?

I have this mower, and by far the best mower I have ever had. Would very, very highly recommend it. I've had a Flymo 380, qualcast, and B&Q own brand (can't remember the name of it), and this beats them all, hands down

Cheers loll1es and besford - guess it means a slightly quicker mowing time with the 36, which suits me sir!

I bought it last week from Homebase for £80 because it had a lower price and 15% off.

oo errrr!!!!

Bought mine last week. I think it is better than my atco balmoral 14, which has just been serviced.

I Bought this exact same mower only 2 weeks ago and it was on for £79.00 after 15% off. It seems they have put the price up a lil. Also if you know anyone or have a friends friend who works there just tell them to stay after they finish work and meet them up and go through the till rot get another 20% off!! That's what I did

As with every year, overpriced to begin with and reduced when the lawn cutting season starts to make you think you're getting a bargain and get you through the doors to spend money on other things.

Thanks, got it from amazon as you cant use the 15% code for reserve and collect items from homebase.

Thanks for the advice. Completely different price bracket though. Ride on.....

The mower is the same price it was 2 weeks ago. It's just that there was a 20% discount on gardening equipment on the Friday and Saturday.

Lucky you getting another 20% off that with the staff discount.

Agree with others that this is so light, but gives excellent results. Buy it without hesitation if your in the market for a new mower.

Cheers ordered off amazon yesterday

Just ordered one from amazon,as other have stated cant used the code to buy online from HB not even for click and collect (which is a bit dumb IMO) factor in the faffing about driving to homebase and trying to find parking on a bank holiday vs click a few time for free del from amazon and yet again online shopping 1 brick and mortar 0......Cheers OP

Yeah, know what u mean. Guess it all depends on how quick u want it, whether u need 2 b in 2 accept delivery, if u want 2 c it before buying, how far away the store is, etc... However, it is nice 2 have a choice without it being more instore.
Rather surprised the code isn't working online though. I got it from the front page of their website . Sorry, but I'm unable 2 check at moment as on mobile, battery almost flat & low on data!

Still, I'm glad u & others managed 2 get one from either Homebase / Amazon.

thanks rich the fish even though I would have preferred instore, if homebase only want to offer it for two days their loss, i would have gladly drove down to buy it at £85, amazon it is.
