Bosch - Rotak 34 Lawnmower £49.00 @ Homebase instore

Was in Homebase in Falkirk today and noticed they had these down to £49.00. Not sure if its a national deal as the POS looked like they were clearance items.

There are some mixed reviews online but this has previously been a which best buy (http://www.which.co.uk/home-and-garden/garden/reviews/lawnmowers/bosch-rotak-34/review/). Cant imagine you'll get a much better small mower for this price.

Doesn't appear to be an online deal.

Hope it helps someone.

Good luck. They were infront of the tills and there were 5 left when I got mine.
These are great mowers, highly recommended. Get one if you can!
Good price
Cracking deal.. Heat Added..
Great mower. Probably shifting old stock as the latest model has the 'ergo flex' handles. Still an awesome deal.
I've had a rotak 34 (maybe 36) and its the best mower I've ever had! Been over all sorts been borrowed out been at two houses and its been amazing! Same blade, leaves really nice stripes. When mine goes I'm going to get another. HOT!

Great mowers, regret buying a Flymo last week for 40 notes now.
Great mower, got the cordless half price in B&Q from a deal here a while back - even better if you can afford one of those (_;)
Ditched my pathetic Flymo 380 for a Rotak 34 Ergo, best mower I've had, absolutely brilliant, total steal at £49 even for non ergo
great price if true but wont vote

Don't need a cordless, have a new build so my garden is like a postage stamp.
I replaced my Flymo with one of these and it's fantastic! I can do my garden on half the time and the cut is miles better. I will never buy a Flymo again and for the price this mower is a steal.

Hot hot hot
This lawn mower is just great. Price is hot as well.
I purchased this 3 years ago. Middle of the 2nd year summer, the mower just stopped midway. Sent it in for repairs and was told the engine had packed up requiring another 50 quid or so spend to sort it out. Frustrated at spending a significant amount for a Bosch instead of getting a cheap make and then this happen, I wrote to Bosch and complained. Told them that I use a mower probably about 6 times annually, so for the machine to pack up in 10 uses is insane. Bosch were very good and repaired it for free! No problems so far :-)

This is a fantastic lawnmower btw people. I ordered one a month or so ago from amazon for £69. Our flymo died, so had to buy a replacement and I'm glad I bought this. Its genuinely the best lawnmower I have ever used. Quick, light and easy to use, it cuts through grass like a hot knife through butter.

As for most of those above, I have one of these, replacing a useless Flymo - good decision. Grass not flung over lawn and the mower is easy to control and empty. Paid a fair bit more than this for it so if you can get one for £50 then go for it.
Yep - I'm another who struggled with increasingly useless Flymos for years then finally got one of these (a 37 I think) - should have done it years ago, such a good mower. A real steal at this price too, though note this is pretty small.
anyone else get one ?
nearest store is 50 mins away from me
Marked up at full price (£149.99) in Homebase Alnwick.
None instore at Stevenage branch.

Which store did you purchase yours from please? I have tried 2x stores and they are selling at full price. Chichester and Hove are not in the deal.
Milton Keynes £149 - the Bosch Rotak 32 is £99 therefore seems to be a pricing error at orginal store. Wonderful for the people that got it as Homebase are robbers!

thank you saved me a trip also
None in Ilford, went first thing in the morning
Read post on here today being fed up with my old mower taking forever to do the lawn and decided to try my local homebase (Cardiff).

They had 2 reduced to £59.99. OK a tenner extra than Falkirk. Bought it, cut the lawns- it does indeed cut through grass like a hot knife through butter as the last poster said- very impressed. Thanks for the post.

Hot!!!

Maybe its a managers special thing where they have a bit of room for a bit of choice on price in their store.

So did I, also checked Merton store, cant get to the wimbledon branch (near Gap lane) till the weekend. They all have stock but all at full price....aaaarrghhh
As pluves1 suggested, the reduced ones are almost certainly the pre-ergoflex (ie old model) ones. New stock is full price. Good luck with finding one of the old ones but frankly these are so good I'd willingly pay full price for one over a horrid Flymo (I foolishly struggled with those for 20+ years).

Note that they come in a range of sizes and a '34' is really only suitable for a small lawn.
none in north finchley store either. Its at £99, down from £149. That's what POS says. This is the new Ergo model I am talking about. This weekend its 15% sale on everything so can get for £84. Not sure about the £49 deal. Is this valid deal? not many managed to claim the deal from the store. Not sure why is it Hot.
