You really need the model number, the capacity and maybe the spin as well as the retailer in your title... Can a moderator get onto this?

BOSCH Serie 4 WAN28080GB Washing Machine - White

Capacity: 7 kg
Spin speed: 1400 rpm
Quick wash time: 15 minutes
Energy rating: A+++
Two-year manufacturer’s guarantee

Personally, 7kg is too small for my needs and while I'm on the hunt for a washing machine I'm now disregarding any with less than a 5 year warranty. Lots of people on here have put me off Bosch stating common issues with bearings.
Good washing machine.
I have bought Bosch Washer/Dryer in 2011 and still running fine. It won't last as long as my last Miele(broke after 23 years of service) but cost is 3X less.
7kg 1400 spin is around £299 or less. Bosch are not necessarily German made either

You must have big needs.
Pay triple or more for Miele or AEG if wanting quality, if happy with ageing machine and not like some who chuck out just to get a newer more tech one.
Does this come with a free Immigration Pass if it sets your flats a'had?

7kg is relatively small, I've managed for the last ten years with a 6kg but would like to upgrade to something that means I don't have to do two-three washes at a time, and could possibly take a double duvet (looking at 8kg).
Samsung and LG are offering 5 year warranties and I'd rather go down that path than the issues with bearings many people on other posts have said they've have after Bosch's two year warranty has expired. The design of modern Bosch washing machines means that a possibly replaceable part such as bearings is impossible to work on due to their design.

And nope, I don't chuck tech to get newer items. My current Zanussi which is ten years old has too much drum movement and can often sound like an aircraft taking off when it goes into a spin!

It most likely needs new drum shock absorbers; had some fitted to my Miele after 15 yrs

That's the conclusion I came to. Bought a washing machine anti-vibration mat to see if that helped and sure enough it did dampen the sound slightly and the washing machine has stopped 'walking' across the kitchen. Will eventually get around to either replacing or repairing my current machine...
Lasts forever, not from Currys it won't. Awful company !
Had my Bosch for the last 6 years. Used daily and no problems except new brushes last year. Excellent machine.
Unfortunately Bosch are not what they used to be, unless you go for a top of the range series 8.
I'd suggest LG if you want something that doesn't cost a fortune that will last circa 10 years

my 2 pence.
its as good as you can expect from a £300 washing machine.

That's correct! I was told in a shop only the top end machines are German and the cheaper models are made in Spain.

My last Bosch washer cost about £400 and lasted about 4 years. The heater element went first then the drum bearings. As the bearings are sealed they cannot be replaced.

On my 2nd Bosch washer Maxxx 7. Hope it's lasts longer.
