I’ve got a lot of Bosch appliances, they are at least 5 years old, none of them have let me down.
My Bosch washer used every day will be 5 years old in October has had no issues. Can't be too badly made.

I don't doubt they're good products, my beaten-up Bosch washing machine is almost 18 years old and still going strong after some minor repairs.

But my point is if they're as reliable as Bosch wants us to believe (and justification for the up-front cost), the warranty should reflect that.

They could but you’ll end up paying more. I’ve got a Miele washing machine, came with a 5 year warranty. Never used it but the machine was very expensive in the first place.

I’ve got a Bosch cooker hood, tumbler dryer and oven, paid a lot less then the equivalent Miele products but they haven’t broken down either in over 5 years

Check your local Euronics store as they are offering a similar model with Bosch £70 redemption. I got great service off my local store recently. They delivered, removed by old one and the new ones packaging and even swapped position of my dryer and washer all for free. I used G Craggs but am sure others can be helpful. They choose to differentiate on service. euronics.co.uk/lau…674

An 18 year old Bosch is better than a new Bosch. Standards have dropped but, still better than the rest! Also their so quiet now when not in full spin. When in full spin they can be a little earth-moving because of the faster speeds.

Same one but with white door rim! Cheaper price too!

40 degree wash time is 270 mins? That can’t be correct, surely? That’s 4 & half hours!

A full 100% wash takes 5hrs 50 mins?

I think that’s on Eco setting, this is why it has a A+++-30% energy rating. You can turn it off if you want.

It’s a nice option to have, as you can set a timer so that the washing finishes at a specific time i.e. finishes when you wake up. This can help save money by using less energy and water.

I was poking fun at the use of % instead of °

Had issues with water hammer and excessive vibration with an LG model I bought so now considering this one. Can anyone advise if they have had similar problems with this model or just Bosch washing machines in general? Hopefully not!

Problem with LG was the design meant water was let into the drum in short, sharp spurts. Also, even when the drum was just gently turning you could see the machine rocking (despite being levelled). This Bosch machine has an anti-vibration feature which I hope will reduce any possible vibrating.

Thanks in advance

With this deal you essentially pay £40 quid more for a series 6 bosch of arguably better build quality. Warranty is the same on both. That without even considering the bigger drum capacity and the quieter washing.

I have no idea why that one is so hot! This works out as £374 with the code and the cashback so not much more at all!
