Variable Temperature Settings
Improve Flavour with Temperature Control

True tea lovers know that the temperature of the water has to be exactly right for their type of tea — because that's the only way for the flavours to develop perfectly. To meet this demand, you can now adjust the water temperature in four stages—from 70°C to 100°C— on the base with an LED display indicating when each temperature stage is reached.

Isn't every kettle cordless?

We have this and the matching toaster, they are great although the annoying beep once it’s turned on or boils drives you crazy
Edited by: "rixy" 6th Jun
Had mine 6 years, still like new + the toaster.

Personally don't mind the beep.

Thanks for info. very helpful!
We’ve had this kettle for the last 4 years and it’s been amazing. Still going strong!
Had to check when we bought ours... 2012!! If/when it goes belly-up I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Pricy but you get you pay for! 40999812-fReXD.jpg
Overly loud beep when the water reaches the chosen temp. Would recommend the Bosch Styline where the temp selection is built into the top, not the base. Even though it also makes a beep it’s not loud like this one.
Ours broke just out of warranty,. The temperature sensor broke so it either wouldn't stay on or sometimes wouldn't turn off once it reached 100 degrees. Probably just unlucky as my mum has same kettle and its still going strong after 6-7 years.
I bought it a few years ago- lasted 2 years. I bought AEG and is brilliant. I’m not buying Bosch again
We had this for over 5 years until it gave up 2 months ago. Great stylish kettle. Like everyone says here, the beep is annoyingly loud. If you have a baby in the house just avoid.

Very good kettle, the variable temperature setting was a must for me for coffee. It's really fast to boil. As others have said, they last well.

Never bothered me. Good kettle. Very fast boil.
Ours was returned twice due to leaking.
Looks good but I wish they would bring back the Filtrino. My one has been going 4 years and it's really good. If it ever breaks I don't know what I would get to replace it.
Utter trash, don't waste your money on one.

Had one earlier this year, it started leaking from the base when just over three weeks old.

Yes, usually just the base inside kettles is stainless steel unless the main exterior body of the kettle is also metal but those only tend to be on £100+ kettles like the Porsche design Siemens ones from years gone by.

Has metal base but everything else is plastic.
We had this and the toaster for a few years, not impressed for the money we paid tbh. Found the toaster inconsistent and kettle developed a leak.

Ours broke within 6 months. God deal but just beware not the greatest build quality.
I bought this in April for the same price & honesty the best kettle I've ever had. Such notable differences from my previous kettles that make it worth it's price tag.

You can switch beep off, youtube will help you.
I had this kettle for 2-3 years and loved it, it eventually stopped working which was a shame for the cost. I looked for replacement kettles and ended up paying nearly £70 for my new one but even at that I felt is was worth it for such a fantastic kettle. So fast, you can see what temperature it is at, very quiet. Really love this kettle and at this price, wow, don't need another just now. Heat added.

Youtube it man. You can easily remove the beeper.
Have the same for good couple of years. Covered the speaker so it’s not so loud. Also had to bend those thin copper contact plates located in the base, as it was very temperamental and it didn’t want to stay on, when placed in certain positions
Apart from this great kettle

I've got a styline which developed a leak just outside of warranty too. I've been able to patch it up but if you Google the reviews for this range of kettles it's appears that they do still have issues around quality control with leaky kettles. That being said, it is great when it works!

That's dreadful - most reviews suggest it's quick to boil.
