Got one of these, paid £55 for it, top kettle
Never considered kettle style to be important ,but this is a smart looking kettle. shame the white is dearer
We love ours, had it over a year and broke with a crack emerged, got a replacement from bosch, all good.
Also nice first thing to boil to 90 and then just right to have a few nice sips
These are the best. Buy one you won't go back.

Set as you like
None in store in Sheffield and tried to order it on line last week and was OOS. Might not be now though
Had one for a couple of years now best kettle we ever had. 90 function is for perfect cup of coffee without giving it the burnt taste boiling water does. Also the matching toaster is even better it makes the best toast ever. Toaster does not have wire elements like most toasters it has a solid bar that make fantastic toast.
Great kettles. Different temperatures to optimise the correct temp for green / herbal teas as well as the keep warm. Bargain at this price! Heat added.

I think you are missing scarper's point.... Water doesn't boil at 90?????

Heat added. We have a variable temperature control kettle and they are great. 70 is perfect for a hot drink you want in a hurry.
does sound like a very good kettle, but 40 quid just seems too much still.

Tell that to people who live in La Paz

Fab price, fab kettle.
Best thing bout it is the shock-inducing loud BEEP it makes when boiled, my old kettle let out a wimpish click
Amount of times I got distracted by fone and realised I need to reboil oO
Great quality but the beep when you turn it on & when it boils is way over the top!
Great kettle, had the Panasonic one from JL but weighed the same as a bus and leaked so took it back to JL and bought this one!
Umm is everyone aware of the £50 cash back offer? I went for the white kettle & toaster - much nicer than black for my kitchen and looks like I should be able to claim £50 cash back in form of a prepaid mastercard

bosch-home.co.uk/pus…tml

Actually, doesn't look like the model is eligible.. .JL site misleads a little! Hmmm do I cancel and go for black to save £20!

BTW thanks op

According to the link it's only a few models that apply and this isn't one of them.

The black is covered, but you have to spend £99+ so, 2 kettles?! Weird the white is not included
I have this , paid full price for it and no regrets at all. Fantastic kettle .
Bought thanks!

Currys are doing the cashback and they have both the kettle and toaster in stock although they are both charged at 54.99
Is this the same one?
Fantastic kettle except that bloody beep!
Great kettle, had mine around 4 years, still works a treat.

Better deal in my opinion as you can get both the kettle and the toaster for just under £60!

They should price match the kettle with JL so actually think you could get both for £45! That's really not a bad deal but still not sure I want black. Hmmm

JL cleared up their webpage pretty quickly & removed all mention of cashback on the kettle at least, even when the offer is valid. Still shows on toaster though on all colours.

I cant see this model number on the cashback terms and conditions are you sure its included?
TWK8633GB john lewis shows this model nimber on the discription but this isnt listed on cash back form

We thought that but decided to get the Styline Sensor TWK86104GB kettle anyway...really glad we did, best kettle we've ever add, love the variable temperature feature, coffee at 90 never tasted better.

Let's hope there's another 10 years left in you, to get a letter from the Queen.

Think the one pictured above and at John Lewis link maybe the older model, with the larger square base. The one I've got in white below has the smaller flush circular base with the controls at the top of the handle. Bit pricey - though maybe have been a Currys deal on here - but by far, the best kettle I've had for years. Assume the offer ones will be the same standard. Fed up with cheaper makes and brands that didn't last. Only thing it is a bit on the large side and when even half filled it gets a bit heavy. So maybe not quite so good for older folk, on their own. But throughly recommended and definately would buy again.

Not that it matters in the context of the UK, but for those not paying attention during physics or without climbing experience, water boils at 90c at 10,000 feet. Although I don't recommend you bring an electric kettle on your next high altitude climbing adventure.

Great kettles,hot!
wasn't over impressed with this, I found the incessant beep annoying (same with our bosch dishwasher and washing machine). couldn't get it to work sometimes, ended up sending it back to amazon. Maybe I just had a faulty one

There's a video on you tube on how you can turn those beeps off. Very simple to do.
Was considering this a while ago because it had one of the best reviews but couldn't bear how ugly it was so went for a Dualit architect instead. More sturdy than I thought and really pleased with it.
