the above is a newer model for £5 extra, is it worth purchasing this instead ?
depends if 700ml will do for you compared to 1.5.

T12 is always at that price and their target prices are pretty different. Usually T20 is around £49 (Although I don't really know why difference in size can result in such a big difference in price)
why so many models of the tassimo with wildly varying prices? they all do the same thing?

Economically speaking it's product differentiation, price discrimination and profit maximisation. Some people are just willing to pay more so there are more expensive products while the costs are not that different. Some people are not willing to pay for the markup so we have hukd

some have a Britta filter in them and you can buy a hot water disc to make them a one cup kettle as well.
Can you use your own coffee in these things, or do you have to buy their discs?

On offer at Currys as well
You'll notice that new milk based tassimo pods are labelled as "New recipe" or "Improved taste". Look up the customer reviews of the new cappuccinos and lattes on tassimo.co.uk - the new stuff is vile. Mondelez (the pod manufacturers) have reduced the milk quantity and added a chemical thickening agent!
On John Lewis too at £29.95 but with a 2 year warranty... johnlewis.com/tas…106
any idea what the average price for pods are
can someone confirm whether you need to add milk to this
no you don't add milk, half the pods in the packs are the equivalent to milk
Had this reserved in Argos. Having read the reviews and comments of the 'new' pods on the Tassimo Facebook page I think I'll skip this.
I have the TAS200GB reserved at Argos for collection tomorrow at £29.99, its looks the same as the T20? are they the same or am I best going for the T20? I never realised there were so many variants of these by Tassimo!!!!
Very have tassimo for £29 at mo too

I got one of these from Argos as a Christmas present and it's the same model which is also known as the Tassimo Amia I think.

Pods seem cheapest on Amazon but Asda have 2 packets of then for £7 at the moment.

There was a 4 for 3 deal on Amazon last month, which was the cheapest (without the deal it's the same price as Sainsbury's now: £3 per pack for Americano, £4 for Latte, with it it's another 25% off). But currently Sainsbury's is still a little bit cheaper than Asda

you can buy the water t disk and it converts to a one cup kettle. or watch you tube videos to show how to use your own coffee in a pod. bit of drilling a hole in a pod and then putting your own coffee in hack.
