Ordered one - cheers OP

Great price.
Some cheaper prices over Christmas I think, but as this is the T40 not T20, when not on sale is usually £100+.

Ordered, thanks OP, heat!

Just gone into Sainsburys burnley and purchased one. They have got one left.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hows this compare to a Nespresso Lattissima plus apart from price?

Tassimo product far better especially American.

Meant Americano.

Don't forget the £20 off your first order of coffee on the tassimo website

How do you go about getting the £20 off the first order from the website ??

Offer for £20 off first order should have expired at end of january. You could register it just in case they send you the £20 code though.

£20 off next order is still available on the Tassimo website. Just create an account and register your machine and they'll email you a £20 off code. Spend £35 or over on your order and p&p is free. Loads of brands/discs you can't get in the shops direct from tassimo.

Great machine and great deal. Heat OP

Been looking for a deal on one of these - thanks.

Hot.......we love the latte machiato caramel mmmmmm

Noticed this in my local store earlier how do these compare to the dolce gusto machines in terms of price of pods and taste.

Had one of these but to be honest I prefer Nespresso. Each to their own though and great price.

"Firts every post so be nice"... What?

So many people ask for HUKD members to be nice to them on their first post. Shows how bad things have become

Slightly cheaper in store at Currys, if you can find stock currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Thats in black, the silver one is £119.99

Currys price match less 10% the difference so possibly £54? (might have to be in stock at local sainsburys though)

BRILLIANT machine...great coffee...latte's...hot chocs and tea's!! With the £20 voucher it's really worth it and pods can be bought in bulk from amazon. I've had mine since November and use it several times a day! There's a drink to suit everyone in the family.

Nespresso machine is better, plus the pods are a lot cheaper.

Just ordered one. Many thanks for the post, heat added.

I've had mine since Christmas and I love it to bits. My fav is the costa americano and the hot choc! Talking of which, I fancy one just now topped up with a large glug of baileys!! Yummmmmmmy

I'm happy with my nespresso but I do have to add extra water and heat the milk up, still happy with it

Can anyone let me know the size of the cups this makes ?? Herd before its like half cups

ordered, thanks

Agreed.

Surely to be comparable it has to be a Tassimo deal! Everything else is just subjective.

I bought a Tassimo T20 after Christmas after LOTS of research into all the options. I wanted a machine for work to replace the ageing Senseo. I looked at all the pod machine options as well as bean to cup machines. I opted for Tassimo because it sounded like the quality was good (Nespresso better for coffee), but had the widest range. I really wanted the option of latte type coffees so Tassimo ticked the box for me.

I was a bit worried about reviews of the UHT milk pods being a bit sickly, but they are fine. Not perfect, but the Costa Latte pods are still really nice. As are the Cadbury Chocolate ones.

The other machines just came with more faff, I felt. Nespresso was coffee only and you needed to heat and froth your own milk to make lattes. As this is for work, I don't have time for all that malarky!

Bean to cup machines are likely the best coffee, but that's messy and time consuming too...

So Tassimo is perfect if you want a decent cup of coffee that doesn't break the bank... and might want something other than coffee from time to time!

As for costs of pods... Tassimo works out between 30-50p per cup, which is a bit dearer, but there are always deals on EBay or Amazon!

Thanks spoonofmilk, very helpful info, exactly what I wanted to know, so will get one ordered!
Thanks op, great deal... have some heat! x

Just what I was waiting for, cheers op

Just ordered - been watching since Christmas for a good deal. Thanks OP.

Completely agree with this. I've been looking for a replacement for my espresso machine which is on its way out. For ease of use, quality of taste and variety this is the one for me. I was sceptical at first about pod machines but after research and tasting a few different coffees at my Dad's house, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Ordered and heat added Cheers

great deal. managed to get the last one in store on Saturday. been waiting for these to come back on offer

Many thanks I went last night but no stock in my local. Purchased a few items and got a £6 off £60 spend till spit. Rang up today on the off chance to see if they had any in and they had so off I went and was able to use the £6 off as well What joy

Sorry should have said they had 2 left that I could see in my local which is Cannock Orbital. Hope that helps someone.

Well I've picked mine up, only clicked n ordered sunday and collected today!.... surprised to find not even 1 free pod as a sample in the box?!.... so shot out and picked up some suchard hot choc's and went off home like an excited 8 yr old, desperate to try my new toy!

Can I just ask anyone who's already got one.... it says quiet operation.... my a-rse it is!!!.... is it supposed to sound a bit like a tractor when doing the first clean through??.... and then slightly noisy still (like vibrating noise for a few seconds??)

The suchard hot choc was quite nice, not as indulgent and creamy as they make it out to be.... might try the milka one next?

Anyone tried the caramel macchiatto latte??

I like anything thick n creamy.... any recommendations or tips would be gratefully appreciated

Thanks x

looks nice but got a gaggia

although they do make these pod coffee makers seem easy to use
