Following the Costa offer (or non-offer if you weren't a coffee club member, willing to crib a code over PM, or hold your breath and see if you got a code after registering to be a coffee club member) this seems to be the best price around at the moment for a Tassimo that you can just go and pick up locally.

Out of stock online; however it's part of a seasonal appliance sale and should be available instore provided your local Sainsbury's is a decent sized shop and usually sells electricals and homeware etc. There was an entire drop and island end of these machines @ £69.95 on Monday in my local store, and I checked last night and there are 11 in stock instore at the now reduced price of £59.95 at Bishop Auckland. This should be a national deal. Their twitter people are usually happy to check your local store for you if you can't be bothered to ring up or call in.

Was £99.95, then was on sale earlier this week for £69.95, and just dropped in the past day or so to £59.95.

Comes with usual offer of a free £20 of T-Discs from the online Tassimo store if you register the product.

Goes nicely with current deal on here highlighting 3 packs of T-Discs at Sainsbury's for £10 hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…843

Yes these machines go up and down like a yoyo and sometimes can be found cheaper, but right now if you want one, this is the best price if you want to just go and buy one.

I got this from Amazon over a year ago for £49.99, The price of these goes up and down like a yoyo. This is a good price. One of the best items bought for our new kitchen! HOT

I think it just lights up the descale light after a certain number of uses, if you reset it then it just goes off and stays off for about the same time. If you are in Scotland then you may as well just run the descale without descaler chemicals to reset it and it will probably last the life of the machine without needing the chemicals. If you are in hard water area then you can probably get away with running the descale with the chemicals once every 3 times the warning comes up.

It's in the interest of Bosch for people to use more descaler tablets at £5 per go!

This site is a complete lottery for whether deals go hot or cold. This is the best price now for this machine ... the Costa deal is specific to members or people who've poached codes and historic prices are historic; no guarantee it'll go that low again. Ah well. Hope it's useful to someone!

Ah exactly the same my water's soft and it came on quick it must be on number of cycles (I do drink quite a lot of coffee) I just ignored it. Apparently a bit of vinegar diluted in water does the descaling job fine if it is actually necessary.

I quoted that the Cadburys chocolate and other hot chocolates were bad in the Tassimo...but then got a reply to warm up with warm water before using to agitate it... I havent tried it but just an idea for folk!
