Offering options for fast and efficient washing, the Bosch WAB24161GB Washing Machine is ideal for large families who want their clothes cleaned quickly and easily.

SpeedPerfect

SpeedPerfect technology makes the WAB24161GB a far more efficient way to complete your laundry, speeding up your cycle by up to 65%. Great if you’re in a rush, this handy feature lets you finish a cotton wash in under an hour without sacrificing results.

Applicable to all programmes you can reduce the time it takes to run a cycle whenever you’re rushed to get the same great results as a full length wash.

ActiveWater

The WAB24161GB also features ActiveWater, an ingenious technology which makes sure you’re only using the precise amount of water needed for each wash.

Carefully measuring the exact requirements after factoring in the weight of your load and how dirty it is, the machine uses the exact amount of water, making washing far more efficient.

Reduce unnecessary waste for a more environmentally considerate washing solution.

LED display

See exactly what’s happening with the LED display that shows you how far into the programme the washing machine is and also keeps you informed on time remaining until the cycle finishes.

The display can also be used to programme the useful 24 hour timer to let you select exactly when you want your wash to start. Schedule washes to finish as soon as you get home from work and reduce the time that your washing sits in the machine.

Quick wash time: 45 minutes

6kg is hardly "ideal for large families" as they've stated.
Don't forget TCB
Love my Bosch, built like a tank and flawless (though the annoying beeping was the first thing I turned off!!).

6kg is no good for families, and if you want to wash a king size duvet set/pillow cases/mattress protector/fitted sheet in one wash, you need an 8kg drum minimum (speaking from experience, as I've had smaller washing machines).

Looks like our previous one - lasted 12 years! Bought another Bosch (slightly larger).

Read the Which? reviews if you can: they rate Bosch quite well but not every machine gets their thumbs up - surprised they vary that much!

If you're on a tight budget BEKO appliances are always worth a look. Hotpoint, Hoover and their clones are the ones to avoid.
