Good deal for a nice size washing machine

Great deal! Especially when you take into account the fact that it's got an 8kg capacity, comes with a useful £50 voucher and is a Bosch

1.5% Quidco

Voucher value dependent on model, WAB28060GB and WAE28166GB receive £30. Models: WAQ243D0GB and WAQ243D0GB receive £50. Voucher redeemable in store from 02/05/2013-26/06/2013 against Bosch toasters, kettles, irons, coffee machines, hand blenders, mini choppers, kitchen machines, food processors and vacuums. No change given. For online purchases vouchers will be emailled to customers between 21/04/13 and 27/04/13. Offer ends 17/04/2013

I feel a price rise might be coming between these dates for small appliances

That was the Bosch dishwasher. Check your smoke alarms folks.

That's a relief. Ours is in the Utility so we should be ok.

Yes but there's also been a safety issues with other Bosch products. It was on Watchdog :-)

First time I've seen a 20 degree prog on a washer, thats unusual. Still shocking that a normal wash takes 3 hours isn't it!! My 40 degree wash takes an hour and 60 degree for bedding and towels takes hour and 15 mins.

Bosch are great but it would drive me nuts waiting 3 hours for every wash.

Had a bosch for 12 years and still going but replaced it with something different wouldnt buy a bosch now all made in spain if im not mistaken so likely to take a siesta half way through the rinse cycle and close up shop.

Generally, A+++ will take a lot longer as only very little water is used to wash. I agree 3 hours is a damn long time to wait, but I suppose the amount of water and electric used counteracts the time element a bit.

Just checked with them on the phone and Tassimo is fine as they're all Bosch. However, the prices on the Tassimo's will have probably changed by then as they said they are an Easter deal.

Some machines have a 15 degree wash!

3 hours is probably an eco cycle. They take longer because they use less heat, water etc..etc thus it takes longer to get a satisfactory result.

Some made in Spain. Also Poland and China.

TBH, a non-German machine shouldn't put you off if it has been manufactured to standards laid down by Bosch.
