SelfCleaning condenser

Featuring a self-cleaning condenser there’s no manual cleaning involved any longer.

Sensitive drying system

Thanks to a unique drum structure this dryer delivers soft, even drying.

Easy control

With a fully electronic control dial, touch sensitive buttons and a timer display drying is simple and you are always aware of how much time is remaining on your selected programme. The end of cycle buzzer will alert you as to when your programme is finished so you can get your drying straight out and avoid creases.

Special programmes

With a variety of programmes such as woollens, sportswear and mixed load to choose from you can select one to perfectly suit your load.

Using SuperQuick 40 you can dry a small load of roughly ten shirts in just 40 minutes. Sensors will stop the cycle when the load is perfectly dry. No longer will your laundry determine what you wear.

Heat pump technology

With standard condenser dryers air is heated up separately through different stages. With heat pump technology hot air is recycled across different stages which saves you more energy every cycle.

AntiVibration design

Thanks to contoured sidewalls on the design of the Bosch WTW863S1GB stability is increased and vibration is reduced. Shock absorbers and EcoSilence drive also dampen noise.

Energy efficient

Delivering extremely efficient A++ drying the Bosch WTW863S1GB will save you money on your monthly bills as well as being kinder to the environment

Right, but John Lewis have hiked the price up, furthemore Bosch is a good product where can you get better value than this?
It's only a tumble dryer and Bosch are not what they used to be, unless this model has amazing reviews

I've got a 10 year Il White Knight, still works perfect.

Just to a quick search on this site to see real tumble dryer deals.

I am sorry I just do not understand the criticisms I am getting on this product as well as why it so cold?!?
If you buy a dryer that is vented, or condensed but with a fiddly cleaning procedure, and also has higher energy consumption then go ahead you can get one on ebay for less than £100.
if you want a good product with excellent after sales and efficiency and easy to clean then I think this is the best on the market.
Of course, you can spend even more and get yourself a Miele!

Yes I have seen White Knight deals if that is your budget then fair enough. However if your budget is higher and things like energy efficiency and ease of use and reliability are pertinent issues then I would personally go for Bosch.

Cheaper yes, but why is it better, they're both heat pump condensers and the bosch claims it is A++.

I do not have much experience with AEG products, how do they compare with Bosch/Siemens/Neff?

The bosch in the deal is heat pump meaning it will use over less than half the energy to dry a load than your 10 year old one. Meaning in 4-5 years the machine has paid for itself.

I will be getting a heat pump dryer shortly to replace my 15 year old Condenser Zanussi which takes longer and longer to dry with each load.

This also stops when it is dry saving even more energy over your timed machine.

But if you think yours is a better 'deal' then go ahead

Finally someone with some reasoned debate!!!
Bosch genuinely aren't what they used to be...go on ebay or gumtree and you will find lots of them for spares or parts and not that old. Which recommend beko and a guy I know that refurbishes electrical said Bosch aren't all that anymore...... I wouldn't pay that for a tumble dryer...certainly no less than 9kg and all these electrical extras just give it more to breakdown lol........ It does look top of the range though!!!! Haha think I'll sit on the fence then and not vote
