The LG would be £711 after 10% off at currys https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/laundry/washing-machines/lg-fh495bdn8-smart-washing-machine-black-10154712-pdt.html?istCompanyId=bec25c7e-cbcd-460d-81d5-a25372d2e3d7&istItemId=xixtqxprqp&istBid=t&awc=1599_1550943851_33e24d639d3e433ac312700042ae0981&srcid=369&xtor=AL-1&cmpid=aff~PriceSpy~Comparison Engine~137991&awid=137991
Cheers fir heads up but not sure on brands & quality of a Beko & Grundig, can’t see them being up to much pal, I know LG do a black one but it’s over £700 but 12kg, bit steep for a washing machine though 🙈
This is now the cheapest one, £445 after 10% off https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-WAT28371GB-A-9kg-1400-Spin-15-Programmes-Washing-Machine-White-/132276557616?hash=item1ecc4c1730 After cashback it would be £375. The price of this washer before the promotion was £399 so its still worth it
The LG deal for £274.99 is now back in stock at Argos! https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/now-reduced-even-further-lg-w5j6tn2w-8kg-1400-spin-washing-machine-white-27499-argos-3175133
Hi Guys, A bit late to the Post. I am looking for a 8-9kg Bosch Is it still worth getting this one: https://www.applianceworldonline.com/washing-machines-and-dryers/washing-machines/bosch-wat28371gb-9kg-washing-machine-1400rpm And going for the cashback (£70) ?? what do you guys recommend??
£100 cashback on £1000 fridge
Bought three Bosch appliances this week none of them qualify! :(
I don't think it applies to any vacuum cleaners.
these prices are higher than purchasing brand new from lots of online sellers! This is 46% off RRP, which is always stupidly high in the first place, so second hand for the price of new ;-)
"Refurbished Products have a 12-month warranty on provision of the original proof of purchase (online registration is not required and the warranty cannot be extended)."
Thanks OP, just got GSB 18-2-LI Plus Professional for £64.79 (https://shop.bosch-professional.com/gb/en/product/cordless-combi-gsb-18-2-li-plus--9300000038175). Confirmed it states it comes with the following: 1 x battery GBA 18V 4.0Ah 1 600 Z00 038 Carrying case Charger AL 1820 CV 2 607 225 426 It's about £30-40 off anywhere else for the same spec. A bit unclear if the warranty is 12 months or 3 years as it states both on different pages.
You need to scroll down to where it states "select product variation" it's still there I just looked. Using Chrome on Android but should work with any browser.
I could only see the option to buy the drill in the cardboard box with no battery and charger.
Actually mate they have it for £70. Even cheaper.
The GST90BE Jigsaw is tempting with £15 back as Travis perkins have it for £84
Yep got mine back as well
just got my refund through without having to ask for it.
Yay! Thanks you guys, I now checked my Paypal account, and it is there, assumed I'd get an email about it but didn't. woohoo!
Got my paypal refund today too, after escalating to a claim.
I have just received an email from PayPal saying that I have received my refund and just checked my PayPal account and it has been confirmed
Sorry about the mistake, well spotted.
Thanks OP. My mother-in-law just bought a new Bosch washing machine a couple of days ago so if I can find her some cashback I will be a hero!
Interesting but do Bosch come with a 5 year Warranty?
I am honestly not having a go or being pedantic, but the OP should correct the title from 'Bosh' to 'Bosch' for those people that search by brand. Good deal btw, heat added.
Shame that all retailers bumped prices up since cashback started...
Yep, one report and that was resolved! Pathetic original comment.
Well I said creeping up. One is now at full RRP and other jumped up by £40 since last night! Think people are buying too many with all these bosch links everywhere! Lol
I seen a set of terms and conditions that included amazon as a valid retailer but now can't find the list of stores or more info. Does anyone know if by buying on Amazon I would have to select the Amazon offering rather than third party as Amazon prices are creeping up it seems on tassimo and blender but other sellers offer them up to half that price but still brand new. I know in terms it states must be new item which they are but wondering if it would be declined if receipt shows other name via amazon? Don't really want to pay £150 defo want that card to compensate!! Lol
If John Lewis website is correct and you like the colour, you can buy the toaster & kettle in cranberry for £115. As John Lewis price match, put in a request for them to match the kettle with currys & toaster with sonic direct, both of which have stores and are £40. That way if you get the cash back it would of only cost £30 for both items.
The problem is small print and fussy promotions Chasing up for cashback getting refer to t and cs
seems it has expired
Good deal but may have expired - anyone else getting invalid code ?
Won't work now :(
Code doesn't seem to work now
Paid a LOT more than this. Hot
Cheers OP great deal! :)
Perfect timing. Needed some new apliance so bought them all Bosch to collect the cashback after shopping around. Thanks OP
Sorry that was just an example of a search term to append to your normal search. So for example if you're after a Bosch oven try the following (on ebay and google): Open Box Bosch Oven Graded Bosch Oven Ex Display Bosch Oven It helps if you're flexible with the manufacturer/model or can be a little patient. IMO the top tier Bosch/Neff/Mielle/Siemens/AEG are all very good. I wanted the AEG full touch control ovens as the design went very well with my modern design Parapan/Corian kitchen. So I found some authorised graded/open box suppliers and contacted them with my requirements (i.e. just search for anyone that has any ovens for the manufacturer you want, even if it isn't the correct model). They generally know in advance what they have coming soon or how often they usually get the model you want and will contact you when something arrives. If it's an ebay supplier check their previous sales to check what would be a fair price. Also don't be afraid to haggle if you're buying several items. But word of warning, if like me you're buying more then one integrated oven/microwave, make sure you can source them all before buying one. It can be tempting to snap one up at a great price, then find out you can't get the matching microwave/extra oven/etc. I matched the ovens/microwave. But the hidden stuff like dishwasher/fridge I was more flexible with. Its also worth phoning around your local Curry's/John Lewis/etc to ask if they have any ex-display items. I just happened to walk in to Currys of all places and saw a Neff Integrated dishwasher with no price. When I asked the salesman he said £200 ex Display clearance. My Wife nearly fell off her feet when I answered I'll take it without even a google to confirm if it was good price (I'm the typical HUKD bargainer, but I knew an all singing/dancing/full LCD panel integrated dishwasher would be at least £600 normally). Over the years I've walked into many JL/Wickes/etc and noticed the ex-display stuff tucked away in the corner and oblivious customers buying the full price new ones. Ex-Display will sometimes even qualify for manufacturer offers. Good luck whichever route you go :)
All Bosch appliances come with 2 year warranty as standard so no advantage with the JL warranty
Seems even stranger when the coffee actually tastes hotter! I've been experimenting making my own Iced Coffee while I was in Australia I became addicted to the stuff. A useless bit of info: Coca Cola outsells every other drink in every country except Australia where Iced Coffee is number 1. And ive got quite close to the real thing, using an empty 2L milk carton (cleaned and rinsed) I put in 10 teaspoons of sugar, roughly (I can't remember exactly) 8 shots of espresso. shook it up to dissolve the sugar and then topped up with milk and left in the fridge to chill.......delicious! Taste it as you go along and add either more coffee/milk and sugar to taste.
Really strange as my coffee tastes same on any temperature settings
I adjusted the temperature and the crema and taste are now fine, and weirdly the coffee seems to be of a higher temperature than before!?? I can only wonder what's made the difference but at least I'm back to drinking good coffee!
Have a look at removing the "brewing unit" and give it a clean and careful look if you can see any damage. It is situated behind the flap at the right side of the machine. Instructions on how to remove it is in the manual under cleaning/maintenance. Maybe there is some sludge build up or one of the parts got loose. Make sure to follow the instructions to avoid any damage.
I've ran out of my previous beans but have read it may be the temperature, I have mine set to high which hasn't been a problem with previous beans but I'll drop it down a notch and see what happens to the taste
this is back up to £99. :-)
It's now on offer at £99.
It's £10 off £25 + £5 P&P So minimum you're spending is £20 for £25 worth of pods. With free postage only being £5 more it's better to spend £25 for £35 worth of pods.
The code for the holder is 8DISPUK The discount pop up must set a cookie or something, as I don't see a code for that.
ordered yesterday. received this morning. was about to buy a t12 until I saw this. With the price and no p&p it worked out cheaper and better to get this. great machine and I looking forward to trying the pods.
I recently bought a Bosch oven - emergency purchase last weekend when ours went bang, requested tuesday delivery and the old one taken away, and the courier provided tracking info so we knew which 2 hour window it would arrive in. I submitted the cashback claim today online, and they will pay the cash directly into my bank account.
There's also 30% off via https://www.facebook.com/bakeityourself until 14th Feb - not tried stacking it, but presumably would work as long as order value > £50 still... too late for me.
one review onn john lewis says Worse iron I have ever tried. It does not iron out normal creases with full steam, water spray or steam boost. Just does not seem to have the oomph to do it, and is quite ineffective making ironing really hard work It is lightweight, but not excessively so. The design is ergonomically poor. There is not enough room for the average woman's hand so the iron becomes cumbersome to use, and for a man's hand it is way too small. Only plus point is that the lead seems longer than average. Very disappointed as I bought this iron expecting it to be the usual well made Bosch product.
Not available in N.Ireland. Disappointing.
Good deal have some heat - but hate ironing so will pass for a change ;-)
Was looking at their Styline kettles, but £70 from Bosch opposed to £50 from many other retailers means the iron isn't really free in that example.
I haven't ordered from these people before but they have repaired my Amana Fridge freezer under a service contract. They are listed as eligible on the Bosch website. Washtec and are offering the WAS28840GB for £757 delivered
Was after a washing machine so had a quick look at the WAS28840GB from john lewis,ok £100 cashback but £1049.00 so not such a great deal. The other models with lower cashback may be worthwhile if you wanted one of those particular models anyway.I ended up going for this from costco £399 for members £415 for non members 10 years parts warranty & includes delivery installation & removal of old machine

Having tried to buy this vacuum with the £50 +£50 off and the process failing (see earlier post), I decided to complain via the 'contact us' feature on their web site. This was now 3 days ago and no response from them at all. I used to recommend Bosch products to others and have bought several Bosch appliances in the past, but this will certainly make me think twice about buying their products in the future. If they can't even help me buy one of their products then there is little chance that that after-sales service will be any better.
ordered from the Vax sale so Bosch loose out on my money and probably more of the people who tried to get this offer have now purchased elsewhere as the £50 off voucher was not good enough to make it a deal.
Ordered the slightly cheaper ECO model yesterday for £124.99 and £100 off. Best price I can find it on the market and confirmed delivery to me by email today so all seems to be working now. Not the worst outcome ever!
Finally decided to go with this and purchase the vacuum with the £50 voucher, making it £150. This was despite the fact that they had botched up the original price and then botched up the discount code. I thought I'd give them a THIRD chance. I entered the second (correct) code and it accepted it! Wowee, I thought, they have finally got it right! But guess what happened when I entered my credit card details? It gave me this message.... "Cannot find an available route for the purchase. This may be caused by merchant configuration or remote systems failures." "Start Again." "Server secure.worldpay.com at 06/09/2013 13:24:44". I tried this twice with the same error. I called bosch up and they told me that there was no problem as all was working correctly at their end! I should try again in 30 minutes! I asked them to take the order over the phone, but they can't do that apparently! Don't they want my money? What a way to run a company!
Order Status: In Progress but still got new email Dear Further to the email you received on Monday concerning your recent offer we are sorry to inform you that the voucher code(s) we sent you for an additional £50 off a purchase for a Bosch vacuum cleaner was invalid. As per our email we are working hard to correct a system error which meant that instead of prices being discounted on the online store by £50 they were mistakenly priced at just £50 when the promotion was clearly advertised as £50 off the price on www.bosch-home.co.uk As per our original email, your original offer has been rejected and no charge has been made against the method of payment you provided for the transaction. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused and apologize for the mix up with the voucher codes. Please find below code(s) that have been validated. This is valid for a further £50 off the promotion price, giving you a total saving of £100 off the following Bosch vacuum cleaners; BGS5SILGB, BGS5PETGB & BGS5ECOGB. To take advantage of the voucher code(s) below, please visit www.bosch-home.co.uk Yours Sincerely, Mike Faiers Group Marketing Manager - New Media BSH Home Appliances
Cold might as well get quick fit to check for problems lol
just like anything like this, there is no guarantee they are not going to recommend work needs doing that really does not. It is soooo common for companies to do this. EG: Took my car to a VW service center for service and they said it needed £1500 of work. Took it then to my Merc/BMW & VW Mechanic and he did the "correct" work for £150. they claimed sensors were not working when they were etc.etc.etc.. find a good mechanic and get him to do the same checks, I am sure they will not charge that much just to check it all! D.
I actually think this is a very good idea. Most people just go into winter without giving any thought as to the state of their readiness. This is even more important with older cars. Anything that can potentially save lives has got my vote. Yes they may sell all of the things, they are a business after all. Would you decide that you didn't want to take your car to a garage to have your brakes looked at because they also make money by repairing them? Of course not, you would take them to a garage for that exact reason. Why is this any different? Voting cold for something that could saves lives is beyond me...
Never understand these free checks. Everything is a money making game in automotive.
So let me see, they check everything that they sell parts for? Hmm, what a good idea. Maybe convicts should also sit on parole boards LOL
