Good find OP - tempted to upgrade from QC25 (probably no point upgrading from QC35)

Nay 100 squids
Damn purchased these from amazon Germany last week , anyone know if they will gift card /refund the difference?
The limited edition ones aren't much more, compared to £350 on UK Amazon
This the cheapest it has been?

Only a few euros more to get them delivered tomorrow.

What's the difference?

I would say colour..... Pose ability...... Bigger savings compared to UK..... And maybe better resale value

But mainly, yes, just colour.
Was interested in these until I read the US reviews, fairly negative for the poorly thought out restrictive app that forms part of the experience and sorely let's down the hardware. Seems plenty have been returned for this reason alone. Anyone actually own them and can comment?

Yep. Spot on.

Headphones are stunning for everything I've thrown at them.

App is crap. Absolutely no integration with the old Bose app, can't share with a QC35 or Soundsports. Features lacking. Connectivity is poor to the app too, takes a couple of attempts to recognise my cans.

Yeah I agree , had mine a week mind but great headphones, look and feel good and the sound is really good (to my taste )
the app is in dire need of more options compared to the Sony equv

Defo the cheapest they been this is a bargain

Firmware updates. Also the 700s can simultaneously connect to 2 devices. The app lets you toggle which ones those are. App is also for setting what each of the buttons do: levels of noise cancellation, which assistant to use.

Many of this is first time setup only except the toggling of devices and firmware updates. But the App is so so so badly developed. If you unpair your cans it’s near impossible to pair them with the app again. Even after a hard reset.

They’re fantastic but of kit though. Heat added!

Yep great cans. Totally agree on points for the app. My best way to connect is to restart my phone 😳

The only other bug I have with them is that they fold outwards... Drop them down to your neck and the hard backs are against you collar bones, and the soft ear cups face outwards. Stupid and annoying.

Having said that they are truly astounding noise cancellation. Train and tube journeys are utterly transformed. Can't wait till my next flight to give them a go in the air.

Also best performing headset for Skype and calls.

LOL! Good point about they way they fold didn’t even consider that.

I tried the Sony’s and the mics are unusable. Bose hit it out the park with the mics on these. Best in call quality by far. It’s a deal breaker for me as I use them for long periods on calls. Also multi device pairing and switching is another place I use them a lot between laptop and phone.

Many won’t have these use cases and the Sony’s sound better to more people and they’re a little more portable.

Style wise though the Bose are very pretty.

Bose AR seems a little gimmicky. Anyone else used them?

I purchased them last night and they are due for delivery today. They have been shipped from the Uk, not German. Just purchased via the German amazon.
How do these compare all round to the Sony WH-1000XM3s?

Depends on what sound signature you prefer. Both are great at different things.

Well, that doesn't say much.

Research reviews on the difference in the sound between them or go to a shop and try them. That's the only advie anyone can really give. Both have great battery life and great ANC. Just get what you prefer in terms of sound, and cost if that applies. No one can tell you what sound you prefer.

Ordere last night and just had them delivered. Super fast.
I have the QuietComfort 25 and used them many, many times on planes and trains. They are a true marvel and I wouldn't want to travel without them. So, this was just tooooo tempting and I ordered them. Thanks so much OP, can't wait for them to arrive tomorrow!!!
I have bitten the bullet even though I have the qc35sii. Hope it’ll be worth it.
I tried out both: the latest Sony’s and these.
These are much lighter on the head, but the Sony’s sounded better. But not another level better. So with the discount, I could be persuaded towards these.

Then again, it will be Summer soon, so I may wait to try the new apple airpods. Sound is not meant to be as good, but on a hot day, you’ll appreciate not having massive headphones.
What happens in regards to warranty? No warranty I assume? How would I go about returns?

NIt worth it mate. Honestly. Couldn't even hear the difference in sound quality but yeah the noise cancellation is better. And I am a guy who owns 4 other headphones for different kinds of song genres and I'm hoping I haven't gotten old enough to understand the sound difference.
Any of you that ordered get hit with import taxes via amazon?
