Are these more comfortable than the Bose 700? Or XM3? I've got a massive head and my XM2s become uncomfortable after a while.

I felt these are roomier. My lugs don't touch the back of the headphones or heat up so much.

I’ve just bought the 700 after using the QC35s after two years the 700s are slightly less comfortable. I also have a big head and the QCs are the most comfortable overhead earphones I’ve ever used.

Did you find the cups smaller? How's the sound and NC on the new model?

I have had them for years now and they are amazing, if that helps in anyways to make a decision. By the way I also posted a deal for the Sony if that’s what you are after.

Fee free this also works out almost in the same ballpark.

I actually found the cups bigger with 700, the NC has definitely been improved, i used them on a flight yesterday and having the NC set to 10 tuned everything out. Sound i would say is almost identical but because the NC has been improved you get more sound coming through, if that makes sense.

The only annoyance is the Bose app which is a pain in the A** as you have to be logged into it or you can't access the gesture features.

I stopped using my QC35s due music was always skipping from dodgy bluetooth interferences in public places. It depends on the luck of the draw, as my first pairs never had this issue but they were stolen and all my replacements have had interference issues, touch wood this hasn't happened with the 700s.

I would say try and get to a shop and test both, only problem with that is due to the security cables attached in shops you don't get a proper feel. When i tested the 700s at JL they were seriously uncomfortable and i almost gave them a pass but when i bought mine none of that discomfort was present

Thanks for that info. I'll take your advice and pop along to Currys.
Ordered, used my Curve card. Should come in handy in the office when people are shouting on Skype calls

I'll probably move my XM2s on and try these out. Will be a while though

Thanks for your reply. Horses for courses. Since your comment, I've looked online and general consensus seems to be that these Bose are comfier than the Sony but I guess as ever its every individuals opinion.

I'll just have to try them all I think.

They don't have good sound stage though. It's good for a warm neutral sound. But immersion is non existent.
