Sorry to vote down, but these are terrible compared to the qc35s. Clamp like a vice, and smaller ear cups.

Had the 35 series 2's and sold them and looking at getting these instead. Never knew that though so will avoid! Thanks!

Agreed. But this is the best price for those that want one of these. Really good price.
You’d think these would be miles better

Bose May have over engineered these! Should have improved up on the QC2, call them qc3s. Would have sold better!

Too late - you missed QC3’s by a few years;

The 700s do feel a bit more secure when on my head than my QC35s (not uncomfortable for me), but the ear cups are pretty much identical - if anything the 700s are a little more roomy inside. Personal preference I guess.

Which sound better to you?

Which sound better to you?

The 700s sound a little cleaner/brighter to me, but honestly there’s almost no difference to my ear.
I recently won a pair of these and I think they're great, and super comfy. I've got a pair of Philips fidelios which do sound better and are still comfy but these bose are even more so, so much smaller, lighter, convinient etc that I use them far more that the fidelios. Got a pair of Vmoda Crossfade on ear too which feel horrible to me and have to take them off after half an hour, yet my girlfriend has never complained so all personal preference I guess.

They have worse performance than the previous generation (QC35 II). Currently the best noise cancelling on offer is Sony WH1000XM3, followed by B&O H9i. I would recommend the Sony's over these, and Bang and Olufsen if you want a wider soundstage and better overall audio quality. B&O ANC is also smoother, but less aggressive, so performs better under wind noise, but not in heavy situations such as airplanes, tube etc.
Consideirng that you can the QC35 II for the £210ish, I can't see how these are worth £70 more.

agree with you . only issue with the sonys is they have a built in sauna for your ears, and need paired ever time you change devices .

Yep, i do gym with the sony's and a 10k and it was an ultra poor experience! H9i supports 2 devices at the same time which is excellent, but they don't support the higher rate codecs (although honestly not a problem in my opinion, only affects drop out range, but barely a difference between them).

Exactly got the same feeling when I had them Sony's

Same here. Even the b&o h9i's are more comfortabke than the sonys. Ears just heat up, you have to take them off once in a while and out them back on. Thats not comfort.

You can pair nine devices on the Sonys. I have mine paired to my phone, laptop and iPad. No need to repair when going between them.
