You can buy from Atlantic Electrics if you prefer, however the price match might suit some people.

Yeah, but they are available for £270 at Atlantic though; without price matching stuff.

Great price. How are you finding them?
These don't sound or look good IMO

I have used Bose in ear Quiet Comfort for many years but they hurt my ears after prolonged use (90mins).

The Bose 700 are very comfortable and cut out most background noise which is great on a flight.

I make calls with them and told the clarity is good.

Time will tell if they are as robust as other market leaders (Sony mx3) but so far so good.

Right

Well listen to it side by side with the Sony for and example. Or B&O 9i. It sounds very dull

Well haven’t tried the 9i but have got xm3, bose 35 mk2. Beats studio 3 and used a friends 700’s during several long haul flights. All sounded good to me, and I can’t make my mind up which I prefer. None of them sound as good as my oppo pm3s but I need noise canx when flying so NC types cover my needs for flight. At home I have different needs.

Just noticed your nickname. Are u in Aberdeen ? Lol. I think Bose is very comfortable to wear on long haul flights. I use my qc35 for these. I use the Sony on shorter flight and the senhsiser momentum 2 on daily commute!! Each of them offer a different sound signature. Bose is boring but comfortable

No I’m not in Aberdeen. Lol. Totally understand, different headphones for different occasions.

I compared the qc35 to the 700. In my opinion the cushions on the cans were slightly softer on the qc35 but there seemed to be a bit more space in the 700s. Ditto for the mx3.

If you like how they sound then this is really all that matters. Hope they give you pleasure for years to come!

I'm having the same trouble, can't decide between Bose QC35 or 700, Sony XM3 or Beats Stud 3. Thinking not beats as more about the name than the quality. Like the fold away aspect of XM3 and QC35. Any advice gratefully received.

Totally understand your issue, so here’s my input. Others and yourself may be and probably will be different.

QC35 MK 2 - POS - Light and very comfortable long term usage. A neutral flat sound. Physical controls which can be a godsend in the dark on long haul flights. NEG - 2.5 TO 3.5mm audio jack connecting lead ( Always carry a spare lead )
XM3 - Light and very comfortable long term usage however for me not as comfortable as the QC35 due to the ear pads feeling warm and less spacious. More dynamic bass sound some could class this as a muddy artificial lower end. The ability to reduce the air pressure discomfort feeling when wearing a NC headphone during flight.

My input here is only my experience from using both models during long haul flight - hope this helps

Physically, the 700 cans are slightly bigger all round. I found that the XM3 were hitting my ears.

Best sound given by B&W PX7, PX5, PX; Sennheiser PXC550 II & Momentum 3 (both foldable). Those are the best wireless headphones in the market around £300, NC secondary issue

(...except in-flight maybe when NC becomes paramount and BT can't be used, exceptional environment)

Yes they seem to have put up the price. May still be worth doing a price match.
