Fantastic pair of headphones. I switched banks to First Direct and this was a perk. Use them every day at work for calls, excellent sound quality and battery life. Really light to wear and I don't get any fatigue from wearing all day.

Also, one of the very few headphones out there that supports Bluetooth multipoint which allows you to connect to multiple devices and work seamlessly. In my case, listen to music on personal phone and answer calls on work phone. Such an underutilised feature...

As a way to contrast, I thought I'd "upgrade" to an in ear noise cancelling pair with the WF-1000XM3...but I've gone back to my Bose for day to day.

Always push the boat out for the QC if you can afford it.

What's that?

Quiet Comfort are the Bose range of headphones that are similar to these but are around ear headphones adding noise insulation for the wearer and they incorporate built in microphones that listen for ambient noise and produce a noise cancelling effect which both reduces interference with your music listening but can also be used without music to produce near silence on a plane journey

Ah nice, they're twice the price though right?
Do these come with a cable as well, I'd like to use them with mobile on wireless and cable on iPod classic.
Great sound but I don't recommend them.
Used to have one, sold.

Ears getting hot and sweaty in no time
This is a great deal at this price. Not sure what the differences are vs V2 but at £109.95 you cannot really go wrong!
There were some Beats on here recently for £99 if I remember correctly that went scorching, these are far superior!
what's warranty on these and what are Bose like for dealing with breakage?

thanks.
Need a decent Bluetooth adapter for airline headphone sockets to go with these.
yes, great

They do, yes
Look a bit flimsy.

Don’t really get the appeal of on-ear headphones apart from price. Probably a “fashion statement” but more of a case of wanting others next to you in public transportlistening in to whatever you’re playing due to sound leakage.

This is a different product (around/over-ear headphones) not version 2 of the on-ear headphones in the OP.

Most headphones do multi point Bluetooth connection. All cheap Chinese ones do (Taotronics, Mpow etc). It's just the Sony XM3's that don't. But they make up for it in sound and features.
This is a 7 year old model how is this hot? Overpriced if u ask me
Great deal! Bose has never dusappointed me so far. Heat!

Yeh the sound quality is very good, it's a shame they don't support it. Hoping it's something they can patch in.

I've not been impressed with the call quality on them though. I've moved between the prioritise quality to prioritise connection setting and the call drops in and out and makes me sound like a robot more often than any headset I've used. There's also this noticable lag in speech which is annoying

I purchased mine in America on a trip 6 years ago and purchased the extended warranty.

When the ear cups started to degrade and deteriate, I called Bose for support. I was advised that I was out of warranty.
However, the lady still decided to help and sent me out free replacement ear cups. They were priced at twenty odd something pounds.

Yes, I’m sure it only cost them pennies to make, but the excellent support certainly impressed me and has made me want to stay loyal to the brand.

I had the same issue with the ear pads on my qc15 and I got replacements from China that are just like the originals and cost less than 5gbp delivered.

Although I agree about BOSE support as I also have some on ear foldable headphones from them and when the cable started fraying within the first year I didn't do anything about it because I thought it was just the plastic insulation but once they were 1 month out of warranty it started affecting the metal too. I phoned them and they sent me out a replacement cable free of charge no questions asked!

I got a pair of these from an outlet on boxing day about 3 years ago. Fantastic headphones. Comfortable, good quality, seamless Bluetooth, fold up for storage and come with a nice, good quality case. Also come with a headphone jack wire. Only downside Bose are overpriced for the sound quality but the materials, look + comfort make up for it.

I bought them for the sole reason that they're smaller in size than most other over ear headphones I've seen (I don't like large headphones). They are pretty much the size of a standard adult's ear.

hi
What is the main difference, do you know?
Is this one worth it? Or is it better to splash out and get the higher price quiet comfort for the absoloute noice cancellation.
I received these today and absolutely love them! A lot more comfortable than on ear headphones I've had in the past and way better if you wear glasses which is a big win for me.

If you can afford to splurge on the QC I would say do that. If not, these are a great set for a great price
