I know there is a QC35 II but these are good for the price and if you can get John Lewis to price match it then that’s even better.

I have these and they're excellent, for anyone passing through an airport soon though, the new ones are £279 in Dixon's Travel.

What's the difference ??

These are likely to be the Version 1's which are excellent. The V2's have some minor improvements and the addition of a Google Assistant button which I actually use far more than I ever thought I would.

For anyone considering a pair, the noise cancelling is phenomenal. Seriously. I had never paid more than £20 for headphones before and I consider these one of my best all time purchases.

Worth every penny. I opted for the Version 2s for £329 from John Lewis but if you dont use digital assistants then save yourself £60 and get these

Good reduction on along with the flagship Sony's considered the best ANC cans out there.....too rich for my wallet...I've instead opted for the Fiil range of headphones. Mine have just reached the UK and awaiting DHL to deliver....If these Bose are the 1sr gen qc35 then as pointed out, you should see the price fall further.....Black Friday is only around the corner :0) Thanks for posting :0)

Thanks for the heads up! Did you happen to note the price of the Q20 wired in-earphones?

John Lewis still accepting price matching if you prefer them.

Save another tenner.......PRC direct £259 and John Lewis will price match too

purchased mine about 6 months ago before a couple of long haul flights, and have to say they completely changed my travelling experience primarily because of the excellent noise cancelling. The only time I took then off was to charge them at the airport, but they are so comfortable that I was happy to keep them on for as long as possible. As a frequent flyer I always wondered why so many other travellers wore these Bose in particular, after my own experience I don't travel without them now. Highly recommend to anyone who needs peace & quiet (or great audio quality) in noisey environments.

I'm traveling to the US next year, do the headphones come charged when bought at the airport?

Apparently the Sony MDR-1000X are slightly better (though I would want the QC35 v2 for Google Assistant). You can use the MDR-1000X wired - can these be used wired?

I'm hoping with them wired can use the quad DAC from the LG V30.

You can, they come with a wire in the case.

I definitely preferred the MDR-1000X to these

Noise cancelling second to none but I was amazed when even the v2 lacked Apt

I JL price matched on line on a previous similar QC35 deal here; went to Stratford City with JL PM number and got the QC35II with Google Assistant.

Just ordered a pair for delivery tomorrow thanks op it also says that if they are reduced in the Black Friday sale they will refund the difference in cash or if finance is used then a credit note will be issued. They also gave me a 2 year extended warranty for free so very happy

They are definitely the better cans, but for the issue of the headband cracking

The half a second bluetooth lag with these (due to no apt-x support) means they are useless for me for movies or gaming

I've got a pair of QC35 v1 for sale, it's brand new sealed. I'm asking £235 for it...let me know if your insterested so we can meet up in central London...

Managed to get JL instore to pricematch SuperFi for £259. They were also kind enough to give me the QC35 v2 model, as they didn't have the v1 model and both are £329 on JL website.

You were lucky, I went to JL in Leeds and was told by a so called sales manager they only price match if a high street retailer had it for this price. I had a feeling he didnt have a clue when I told him it was Superfi that I wanted to price match.

Tried this today and they refused to provide the v2 instead of v1.
