Worth asking at all the other Bose stores if you are out and about doing a bit of shopping today!
I think we are (hopefully) going to see more of these sorts of reduced prices now that the 700 have been launched.

Question now.... Refurb xm3 at £189 or these at £199?
It's available for 230 odd on ebay, and there is a 10% code running so can be got for 207,doesnt make sense to get a refurb for 10 quid less. I was looking at it and ended up getting the 1000xm3 for 207

No idea if it's grey market or not

Accepts offers too, wonder how low they would go...
Good price! I’ve got these and they are great for music or movies/ videos. Absolutely comfy too. Managed to get another pair with the Huawei offer that was on several months ago. Looking at the new 700’s to be launched soon

That's definitely grey, ships from Switzerland. Its one of the top results if you search for it
Omg... I just looked at the 700 spec
Just get the xm3 or wait and try 700s.
I had xm3 and qc35 2 for weeks and bose are significantly worse as far as sound quality goes.
Had these and returned as I found the bluetooth range woeful, always cutting out.

Went for the Sony WH-1000XM3 and can now wander around the house no bother.
Key difference from mx3 for me is that only the Bose will connect to two devices at a time. Plus the recipient call quality is substantially better. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure you couldn’t tell the difference in a random “taste test” experiment.

I’m not saying there aren’t marginal differences in ANC / base etc, I’m saying that if you heard one at random, I’m not certain those differences are so great that you’d always be able to correctly identify which one you were listening to.

Other differences re touch vs buttons, style, battery life, usb-c are all a bit meh to me.

But having said that, if the mx3 had multipoint connectivity and better call quality, I’d have gone with them instead purely on the feature set.

700s will change all that. The additional external mics for enhanced call quality are steps ahead again.

I'd disagree, there is a very perceptible difference in ANC, especially over talking noises and in very loud environments like aeroplanes taking off.

The call quality on the XM3 though is complete garbage. Shouldn't be bought if making calls is a requirement.
