Voted hot, but these have been cheaper recently. Hoping they're drop a bit more over black friday/christmas before I grab them.

These are the version 1s but still a good deal. Tempted to get the QC25 and a Bluetooth adapter but this is a good price too.

I never see any deals for the earphone version. I have the earphone QC20's and they are superb.

Recommended these over Sony ones or over the QC 35?

Much difference between these quality wise and mark 2's?

Think the new ones just have Google assistance and upgraded joints I believe

The Sony's have a bit of a problem with the headband cracking and their customer support being less than helpful about it, I've not seen similar problems with the Bose. Not sure if the version of the Sony MDX 1000s have fixed it or not. You'll find a bit about it by googling: Sony MDX Headband cracking.

Still the same price as other shops! Hoping for £199 black Friday or this price on the mark 2's

I have QC35 v1 - would recommend, they are excellent.

few points:
1. when it's windy outside you will get a lot of noise / howling
2. the Bose app has privacy implications alledgedly (you can uninstall it and still use though)
3. sometimes difficult to pair if you use multiple devices (sometimes easier to 'forget' a device and connect again as new). The app makes that easier (but see point 2)

I wouldn't say this is a great deal, as I got the v2's a few weeks ago for £276 - hotukdeals.com/dea…802

They're £291 now though.

Not worth for this price. Might as well risk for the 1000X which is now below £200. Have several collegues using it for nearly a year, non of them have crackling problem issue. The feature sets and sound quality just much better than QC35, even the Beat Studio 3 wireless now sounds better than QC35. Unless you really need to maximum comfort and must have it now, then go for QC35.

I got both Sony 1000x and Bose QC35 and while Sony are much better in noise cancellation and sound quality, Bose are more comfortable to wear on long trips but not by much. i think at less then £200 Sony one is much better choice.

Wouldn't get the 1000x, no matter how discounted. Hideously uncomfortable compared to the Bose. Might be usable if you don't ever try the Bose - the moment that you try the Bose, though, you'll hate them.
Not a bad price, but they've released a new version, so nothing special either - just stock clearance.

Tried these and the Sonys out in John Lewis. Sony felt a little heavier. Also, was just after something to drown out colleagues and these were on offer so went with them. Great little set of cans.

Great, was waiting for this deal. Ordered. Thanks OP

Something people need to bare in mind with the QC35 and indeed Senn PXC550/BTNC4.50 is that you can pair multiple devices simultaneously, this for me was hugely important.

I use my Sennheiser in the office, I'm paired to my phone for tunes and to my work computer for taking skype calls. The Sony will not allow simultaneous connectivity, you connect to one device or the other.

From a negative perspective, the QC35 do not have a replaceable battery, therefore when it goes, it goes. The Bose answer to this is you can obtain another reconditioned set for £200/250 from them (unsure what present pricing is).

apparently only certain serial numbers that had an issue with cracking, mine have been fine.

I returned the Bose QC35 II's as the sound was flat and the noise cancelling wasn't as good as the Sony 1000x (after pressing the calibration button that is)

I guess the comfort thing is a personal preference, both equally comfortable for me after 2 hours of wear, maybe the BOSE was slightly lighter, however nothing that would make it win over everything else.

The 1000x allowed me to walk much further away from my device before the sound started breaking up.

And finally the clincher for me was the Bluetooth delay. Since none of the BOSE use APT-X there is a second or 2 delay with audio, which makes watching movies pointless!

Also, with Sony phones, and Android 8 comes APT-X HD which is a much higher resolution audio format that the Sony can use and BOSE cannot.

Bought some QC35 during singles day in China for around £200. Have to say, they’re phenomenal headphones. I put them on and can barely hear my partner speaking, that’s before I even turn any music/audio on. When playing something you really can get lost in it. Also, the most important factor for me when using anything Bluetooth...they’re so simple to pair/unpair. No faffing around, lost connections, connection fails etc

I think your Bose were faulty.

Weight is significantly different also.

Why faulty? which part?

They aren't significantly different in weight, it's like 40 grams
