Noticed this beauty of a deal at Dixons Travel in the departure lounge of Gatwick Airport!

The salesman assured me this is a deal that is live at all major UK airports at the moment that have a Dixons.

Bose QC35:

Bose® QuietComfort® 35 Wireless Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones.

You feel it at the flip of a switch - noise fades, and your music soars. That’s the power of Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology, which continuously measures, compares and reacts to outside noises - then cancels them with an opposite signal.

They say you can’t get long battery life from wireless headphones. Bose® say, “Try ours.” Enjoy up to 20 hours of listening, enough time to pour through this entire playlist.

Bose® spent 40+ years of research in pursuit of the best noise cancellation in the world. Then we obsessed about making it wireless. The result: QuietComfort® 35 wireless headphones. Free yourself from wires and connect easily to your devices with Bluetooth® and NFC pairing. Volume-optimised EQ gives you balanced audio at any level, while a noise-rejecting dual-microphone system provides clear calls, even in windy and noisy environments.

These are Bose's best headphones. In making them wireless, Bose had one goal: seamlessly merge Bluetooth® and their Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology together with no compromise to the technologies or the audio performance that Bose® are known for.

Bose® QuietComfort® 35 At A Glance:

Industry-leading noise cancellation makes quiet sound quieter and music sound better
Wireless connectivity to your devices through Bluetooth ® and NFC pairing
Up to 20 hours of wireless listening per charge, and 40 hours when wired
Premium materials make them lightweight and comfortable for all-day listening
Bose® Connect app helps manage paired devices and gives you a personalised experience

Where the blacks ones there too?
This model is due to be updated in the next few weeks, so holding off may be the better option.
There were black ones at Luton - I picked up a set for the above price on Thursday.

Not quite as cheap as peter Tyson but only by £3.

Lovely headphones, even came with some charge which was nice being stuck in Luton sat on the floor in a random corridor for hours because of a delayed flight. My only complaint is they make my ears sweat a little but that's to be expected for the type of design.

CEX sell the black version for £235 or silver for £220. I got a pair the other week from them and they were pretty much brand new. Purchased some vouchers off eBay so ended up paying £190 for the black pair
Love it when people vote cold when they have no idea whatsoever what they're voting for...

I know exactly what these are, I have the qc25 and would love to upgrade to the Wireless version but £280 is not a good deal, they've been cheaper than this by quite some margin but until they fall below £200 they are still too expensive for most including me, that's why I voted cold

Where did you see them cheaper and in the same condition (i.e. New)

Have been 299 euro on amazon.de for weeks, which comes out to 273GBP depending on exchange rate. Free delivery, so voted cold.

Lowest was £252 on amazon.de I think, the Bose outlet hat them at £239 for a bit.... £279 isn't a deal on these

31742535-n7OWL.jpgNobody knows, bose accidentally sent out a image of the new model in a newsletter (see theverge.com/cir…c35 ). Best guess is some kind of "ok google" integration, though there is a bluetooth standard upgrade due at some point.

The rumour mill says next month.

Thanks! I'll hold off a little longer
Not good. Had two poor quality stopped working properly. When it works it was good but for the money the quality of make is poor. Luckily amazon is refunding money and hunting for something better!
CHEAPER ELSEWHERE. I've alway thought the duty free at gatwick was no cheaper then elsewhere.
If it helps anyone, I managed to buy a pair of fake Bose Headphones on ebay (Yes I know) and took them into the Bose shop to get this confirmed.

I had decided to buy a new pair and mentioned the Dixons price (As I am visiting the airport soon). They said they will happily price match the Dixons deal which gives you the benefit of avoiding using Dixons and Boses own warranty along with their 30 day free trial.

Dixons only have the silver bose on offer, so they will only price match the silve bose, but if you can find a good price from a UK retailer it's worth asking a Bose shop if they will price match
Dixons rip off SCAM!!!!!
£330 inc VAT = 275 ex VAT
£290 for the QCII dixonstravel.com/top…ii/ i.e. MORE THAN RRP
