For John Lewis Price Match -
See xploosiv's post in other thread for methodology;
Then if you're lucky like me, JL won't have the QC35s but they will have the QC35II's and you will get the QC35II's .
Used the QC35II's I got from JL courtesy of the previous post on TFL today.

Good price for quality noise cancelling headphones. Hot.

Sorry to ask, as it's probably obvious, but how can I find this post you mentioned?
Thanks

I can call up Google assistant on my Sony MDR-1000Xes by holding a finger to the side touch panel already. Does having Google assistant integrated headphones add anything beyond a dedicated button to call up the assistant? I think I saw something about getting notifications read to you?

You can if you own a screwdriver.

John Lewis don't price match on discount vourchers / codes.

Submitted a JL price match request at £259, let's see if they agree.

Bought for this price from RGB Direct a few weeks ago after seeing a deal on here. Tried to return them because they gave me a headache after 10 minutes. They said I can't return them "due to hygienic reason". Fortunately my friend was after a pair and I sold them to him for the same price so I didn't lose anything, but just a heads up.

Same here.

Not sure I can justify £260 on headphones though. If I had an upcoming flight...

How long after buying did you try to return? Would they not the breaking the Distance Selling Regulations (or something similar?) by refusing?

I presume it was an online order and RGB Direct are UK based.

They did for me on Tuesday but in store they had a problem confusing the old version and the new version II, (both in stock), they could not get the new version II to go in their system but when they inputted the old version their system was much happier, (which I had to advise them to do), I am perfectly happy with the old version. no use for
Google assistant, most comfortable headphones I have ever had.

Did they day at the time which model you would get? How does price match work please as I've not done it before.

Help!

John Lewis price matched. They have price promise running even for promotional offers

Why price match JL and not just buy from Peter Tyson?

Two year warranty from JL. Bose 12 months plus one year from JL. Then there's the generally reliable JL customer services too.

Just collected mine today but not tried them yet.

That's what I thought, and I would have fought it but my friend was after a pair and bought them off me for the same price I bought them for, so everybody wins.
