good price, great noise cancelling headphones
£100 cheaper than Amazon UK and John Lewis, brilliant price.I bought these several months ago, excellent headphones.
Best active noise cancelling headphone u can get in the market. Just the SQ is not that good compare to other non noise cancelling in similar price range...
Noise cancelling on these is excellent. Shame the sound quality isn't that good...

you are right but when you on the airplane, train, bus, the most important thing is to get rid of the noice.

good sound quality music plus noice OR average sound quality music without noice , which one you will choose?

you mean in your own car or on the bus?

I have these and bought from Amazon.es great headphones! Got the camel on watch for the bluetooth version to drop and will be purchasing them!! Heat!!
just ordered mine. use google translate if your Spanishhhh isn't too bright! For what it is worth this is the best price I have ever seen for these. Just what I need for long-haul... Amazon reckon 2 day delivery to uk mainland. To anyone confused about the Apple Vs. Android version - the main difference is the integrated volume control on the cable. However all the features work fine on any device including noise suppression and it turns out the cable can be ordered independently (for between £10-£25 depending on new or used) if you really must have the cable based volume controller.

Other cables are available for Android. Its a really cheap way to get a pair

Unless you're catching planes every week, it's not even worth it for that. Even with a decent set of IEMs I hear nothing from the outside on a bus or the tube.

There is absolutely no justification for poor audio quality on some alleged "high-end" headphones like these, and even less at their normal UK asking price.
I waited two years to buy these as the cost was so high and I only use them on the plane, but now I have them I cannot do without them, they shut out all the drone of the jet and put me in my own little world whilst on the plane, I would rate these 9/10 easily and if you fly especially more than twice a year then a must! I also wear them 12 hours at a time with no discomfort!
I wouldn't say the sound quality is poor on these, it just may not be to everyone's taste. The high and low end appear exaggerated on the whole, and there is colouring which some people will enjoy, others won't. Definitely worth a try before you consider buying. The noise cancelling is impressive indeed.
Wouldn't be without them on a long haul flight...no drone from the engines makes them worth it
Good price for these.
Personally I could not justify an average sounding headphone at this price. NC is very good but a good set of iems will do it for me.
Overpriced to start with but if you like Bose's artificial sound then a bargain.

I was more than sceptical about these until I bought the android pair last year.

I was going to buy another pair for this price for the Mrs, she bought a cheaper brand of NC headphones by another brand and they're no where near as good. she keeps nicking mine... great price, hot. Shame it's just the apple ones though.
Just remember - no batteries no sound.

I have QC15 with Apple connection and it works well with Amdroid, just not volume control. Stop start works

This was true with the QC15's, however QC25's will still work(without noise cancelling) when the batteries run out.
Thank OP ordered. Anyone know if I'll incur any charges from my bank by paying in Euro?
Since the beginning of time Bose has put huge resources behind clever marketing of mediocre products. Exactly the same can be said of their attempts to make professional PA systems; they tell a good story but the products don't actually perform and so are rarely used by those in the know.

Because the brand is so well looked after by their marketing efforts it has a positive image for those that don't appreciate, or want, higher quality audio engineering. This product has always been over-priced and there are many better alternatives. However you can't catch a plane without seeing Bose adverts in the in-flight magazine so many will think these are right for them and if that is you then good luck.

So it's a hot vote from me because this is cheap for Bose, but I would recommend you look at the alternatives before you buy.

The deal now shows €263.81 when I go to add it to my basket and checkout, yet the main product page remains at €215,10! Anybody else having this issue... ?

Ok, so for the discounted price of these at £169, which Noise Cancelling headphones are better?

I've listened to stuff through these and i thought they were pretty amazing. I couldnt justify a spend of £269 on headphones at the time, however they'd have been fantastic for my weekly flights.

Just curious at what you think is better, for less?

I agree i too thought they produced a pretty good sound lots of definition and natural sounding especially on vocals, plus noise canceling i dont think you'l get much better for the price.

Sorry if my sarcasm confused you - i just get fed up with the Bose naysayers on this forum who for what ever reason decry something, when the ultimate test of this stuff is in the listening. Please note I don't think every bose product is the canines dangles cos i don't. They have made some stuff that doesn't work well, but these headphones and the 901's are not one of them.

Well the starting point for cost effective noise cancelling is just to use buds that passively attenuate external sound. You don't need to plug them in and they don't need batteries. All they are doing is making a good seal to your ear. For more comfort you can get custom moulded in-ear monitors (IEMs) that are shaped to fit your ear. Because these are designed to your ears they provide a very good fit and block sound very effectively.

If you want active cancellation then for similar money to the Bose you should certainly listen to the AKG N60. For around £100 Phillips Fidelio NC1s are rated and for less than then there are products from Sony, JVC and Audio Technica - all respected audio companies.

Nope they work without batteries now. Just for record I did 2 x 12 hour flights this year and they just ran out almost at end.
Has anybody's been dispatched yet
