Bose Quiet Comfort 35 wireless Bluetooth headphones for £287

I'm still trying to decide on whether to get these or the new AKG NC60 wireless headphones.

Appreciate any thoughts from HUKDers on that!

Meanwhile... £287 for the Bose seems to be the best price I can find.

Pretty sure they are cheaper on Amazon es and or de
There's apparently a newer version due out (with an additional button on the headset) due out soon. Current model may drop in price anyway. Perhaps.

Ooh I wonder what the new button will do?

I'd hope it would allow for my tube carriage to completely clear of fellow commuters

Joking aside.... Seriously what will the new button do?

Rumor has it that it would disable temporarily the noise cancelling
Human hearing range is 20Hz to 20kHz, at best. I am past retirement age and mine has narrowed to 300 Hz to 18 kHz. I recently used a signal generator and a good quality speaker with a lower sixth class and a quarter of them had narrowed hearing range ( I checked the speaker output with a microphone and oscilloscope). I would be wasting my money with good quality headphones, the surprise was, so would quite a few students.

That's simply not true. Quality of sound and range of sound are 2 different things

For anyone looking to get a Bose "bargain", go visit a Bose outlet like the one we have in Swindon and you'll find a managers discount table. I picked up some QC-35s that had been returned under the no quibbles warranty. I paid £240 :-)

The Bose Outlet in Ashford wanted £280 for factory refurbs, no thanks can buy new for that, so much for outlet prices, bit of a rip off if you ask me.
For what it's worth, and probably not a lot, the backbeat pros have better sound quality but a lot worse noise cancelling. The qc35 fit great and the noise cancelling is amazing.

After truck loads of research I've plumped for the Sennheiser PXC 550. I'm not crazy about getting the best ANC and needed a good balance of comfort, sound quality, features ... so the PXCs won it for me. I went for the refurbs via the outlet link from Ollie - TCB also so total paid will be 220 GBP.

Looking forward to receiving and trying out in person.

Mate there was a code to use. If you haven't received delivery yet try to email them. If not refuse delivery and re-order.

If you can't be bothered, you won't be disappointed. It's possible to have many bluetooth connections at the same time. So whilst listening to music from my laptop I will be interrupted by a phone call which can be handled using swipe gestures on right hand side head cup. A bit gimmicky but one of the complaints about the well reviewed Sony's

Thanks Ollie

Tried a couple of codes... including SENNUK15 but they didn't work.

Still being from the outlet and with TCB it's saving me a chunk of money...

All good!
